grawk Posted September 21, 2016 Report Posted September 21, 2016 if you have good stuff, why did you take a picture of the compost? 1
jvlgato Posted September 21, 2016 Report Posted September 21, 2016 Ha. The compost IS the good stuff wouldn't you agree?!But there's a nice piece of tilapia under the compost, as well.
Voltron Posted September 21, 2016 Report Posted September 21, 2016 Come on, shiny boy, you've been with a bear before! 1
swt61 Posted September 21, 2016 Report Posted September 21, 2016 (edited) ^ Bear is a bit too rich for me, and I don't like the smell. Oh, and it makes you 3<. Edited September 21, 2016 by swt61 1

Hopstretch Posted September 22, 2016 Report Posted September 22, 2016 Steak, eggs, water, coffee. Just the breakfast essentials ...Edit: Could have used two more eggs. Also, another steak. 3
cetoole Posted September 22, 2016 Report Posted September 22, 2016 I figured that breakfast essentials would include some fantabulous bottle of wine. For me, a burg. Mmm burg. 6
Dusty Chalk Posted September 23, 2016 Report Posted September 23, 2016 Popcorn by "Life by Dallas" "Garlic Overdose" flavored In other words, addictive as crack
cetoole Posted September 24, 2016 Report Posted September 24, 2016 Last night, lamb with gratin potatoes, a glass of har'el wine, and various seasonal fruit sorbets. 6
Hopstretch Posted September 24, 2016 Report Posted September 24, 2016 Serious squid in Sitges, Spain. [emoji633] 6
Torpedo Posted September 24, 2016 Report Posted September 24, 2016 We're right now like 1200Km away. Enjoy your stay there
swt61 Posted September 24, 2016 Report Posted September 24, 2016 I've had squid literally minutes out of the Bering Sea, and I've determined I'm just not a fan of squid. Oddly enough I'm quite fond of octopus.
Torpedo Posted September 24, 2016 Report Posted September 24, 2016 That more than squid (calamar) looks like "sepia" but I don't know the exact word to translate it into English. Sepia has a more delicate taste and softer flesh.
Hopstretch Posted September 24, 2016 Report Posted September 24, 2016 I think it's "cuttlefish" in English, Antonio. Order Sepiida, hence the colloquial sepia I guess? 1
Craig Sawyers Posted September 24, 2016 Report Posted September 24, 2016 I have. In Majorca. It was very rubbery.
Absorbine_Sr Posted September 24, 2016 Report Posted September 24, 2016 In my experience, if things like squid, octopus and probably cuttlefish are rubbery, they have been overcooked. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 3

Voltron Posted September 24, 2016 Report Posted September 24, 2016 Caprese from the garden. Not rubbery --even the fresh mozzarella pearls 7
Dusty Chalk Posted September 25, 2016 Report Posted September 25, 2016 Chang mai noodle at Siam Bistro -- my favourite thai food house is closed until mid October! So I went to another one that I haven't been to in a few months that I've been meaning to go to anyway. It was still delicious, but I ended up putting something from all four of the spice tray spices (fish oil, sambal oelek, crushed peppers and I don't know what the fourth one is, but I used it anyway - jalapeños suspended in vinegar?) and brought it up to a palatable level of heat. 5
