swt61 Posted May 6, 2016 Report Posted May 6, 2016 Is it seafood in general, or just crab? I miss King Crab soooo much!
grawk Posted May 6, 2016 Report Posted May 6, 2016 I think people in texas mostly just don't get to experience great crab. Dungeness and King crab are amazing. Those little scraggly things they have in the gulf are good in seafood stock... 4
Augsburger Posted May 6, 2016 Report Posted May 6, 2016 As long as you slather them with plenty of artery clogging butter and garlic and wash them down with ice cold beer or white wine or Champagne it's all good.

I just started eating seafood about a year ago (I been trying to force myself to like it) and don't eat it all that often. I think I've only tried crab once since I started but I didn't like it.

Dusty Chalk Posted May 9, 2016 Report Posted May 9, 2016 Texas style brisket from Smokey's Bones -- damn, that was nasty, very fatty, which tells me ... I don't know what that tells me, but it was nasty. 3
Augsburger Posted May 9, 2016 Report Posted May 9, 2016 (edited) Perhaps? Edited May 9, 2016 by Augsburger 1

The fat should be infused with the beef, imparting a delicious flavour that is greater than the sum of their parts, without the yicky texture (cf. Steve's impression of okra, most non-oyster-eaters' impressions of oysters, etc.), in this case, of fat.
