VPI Posted November 9, 2015 Report Posted November 9, 2015 There is certainly a theme of fried globs of unrecognizable animal in your pictures Colin. 3
MexicanDragon Posted November 9, 2015 Report Posted November 9, 2015 No wonder he lost so much weight on his other trip: involuntary bulimia.**BRENT**
Augsburger Posted November 9, 2015 Report Posted November 9, 2015 Looks like he stopped at Kenji's house of tempura. Nice run! 1
Hopstretch Posted November 9, 2015 Report Posted November 9, 2015 This was pretty extraordinary. Sat in the kitchen and none of the chefs looked more than half my age. [emoji53] 1
Dusty Chalk Posted November 9, 2015 Report Posted November 9, 2015 There is certainly a theme of fried globs of unrecognizable animal in your pictures Colin.I wasn't even sure how you got "animal" from that, but then I realized who you were talking to.
crappyjones123 Posted November 10, 2015 Report Posted November 10, 2015 9 hour slow cooked barbacoa beef tacos on tacos that my classmate's mom made from scratch. I think I ate too much 3
Dusty Chalk Posted November 10, 2015 Report Posted November 10, 2015 I don't think you put enough toppings on that far one -- you can still see a little meat.
cetoole Posted November 10, 2015 Report Posted November 10, 2015 Only thing I got a picture of from the work dinner tonight, but so much food and sake. I'm stuffed! 1
jvlgato Posted November 10, 2015 Report Posted November 10, 2015 Do you visit the vomitarium mid-meal, or do you wait until the end of meal?
crappyjones123 Posted November 10, 2015 Report Posted November 10, 2015 I don't think you put enough toppings on that far one -- you can still see a little meat.actually forgot to buy the beans, onions and tomatoes. 1
jvlgato Posted November 11, 2015 Report Posted November 11, 2015 Kim Chi Fries. Probably more accurate to call it Bim Bim Bap fries. Fries, Kim chi, marinated beef, stirs ha, onion, cilantro, fried egg. 2
swt61 Posted November 11, 2015 Report Posted November 11, 2015 Wow! That looks and sounds delicious! 1
shellylh Posted November 11, 2015 Report Posted November 11, 2015 (edited) actually forgot to buy the beans, onions and tomatoes. Proper tacos should just have onion, cilantro, and hot sauce (plus corn tortillas). --- Went out for sushi for the second time in my life. This place was pretty good but not as good as the first place I tried. Edited November 11, 2015 by shellylh 1

Voltron Posted November 16, 2015 Report Posted November 16, 2015 Many of these were consumed. Want many of them! 3
Dusty Chalk Posted November 16, 2015 Report Posted November 16, 2015 This silly place -- Absolute Noodle and Sushi -- made the mistake of letting me put together my own plate. So I kept going and going -- I don't think there's a name for this, but if there is, it'd be something like "white devil hedon gluts self and is slothful". It was tasty delicious. That's duck meat, by the way. I'll try one of their standard fare dishes this week -- if it's anything as good as this was, I may have found my NYC-quality ramen place in DC, and it's walking distance from work. 1
