That is indeed an In-N-Out Burger. A Double-Double to be precise. You Cali-hosts should be ashamed of themselves.

I'll let Anthony explain.

2009? The Same Meet I asked Al for permission to drive a few of the crew (Mike?, JP,and others?) in the "Burning Van" to the self same LAX In-N-Out? I can recall ordering a Neapolitan.

I wonder if there was any photographic evidence from then.

Fresh made roasted hatch pepper quesadilla (with fresh made hatch pepper tortillas and hatch pepper Monterrey Jack) with kale salad and grilled asparagus.  I love hatch pepper season.

^^ Butch and Sundance would have loved it.  As would I.  I find that many of the best, most authentic immigrant based (asian, central and south American, African, Arabis, etc) food is to be found in said places.  Bon Appetit!

Salmon saison of coarse. :)

My Mom and her husband are flying to Alaska today, for a few weeks. I'm hoping she'll bring me some Alaskan smoked Salmon, or Squaw candy, as it's known there, though that sounds terribly inappropriate today. It has a harder smoke, and is cured with honey in the process. Yummm!!!

Speaking of salmon, this was grilled on a cedar plank and basted with lemon juice and agave syrup. The rice, by Debbie, had lime and cilantro. And the sauce for the fish was sour cream, garlic, dill, Dijon mustard and lemon juice. My plating skills suck, but the food was excellent.

Sounds delicious!  I would have swapped yogurt for sour cream, but not because it tastes any better.  But otherwise that's like a list of my favourite spices (well, also pepper and cumin, but those wouldn't go with what you already had).
