Dusty Chalk Posted October 6, 2012 Report Posted October 6, 2012 I don't know if GG works like this, but BD's has a separate price for one bowl or unlimited bowls -- I'm cheap, so I usually go for one bowl. I haven't been to GG often enough to know if there is a different price (I've only ever had time for one bowl, as I usually go during the work day), I'll have to check the next time I'm there.
Grahame Posted October 6, 2012 Report Posted October 6, 2012 Sharing a breakfast croissant (can you spot the bacon) Followed by pain perdu (french toast) In Healdsburg http://www.costeaux.com/
guzziguy Posted October 7, 2012 Report Posted October 7, 2012 Followed by pain perdu (expensive french toast) FIFY
Grahame Posted October 7, 2012 Report Posted October 7, 2012 FIFY This is HC after all, and cheaper than going back to Paris. If you want "American" French toast ( as opposed to Pain Perdu), May I suggest Fred's in Sausalito. Especially the "Fat Fred" Deep Fried French Toast ( I understand they use Ice Cream in the batter), with Bacon. What a way to go Or you could have the "Millionaire's Bacon" http://www.yelp.com/biz/freds-coffee-shop-sausalito Side trip at the next MOA ?
cetoole Posted October 10, 2012 Report Posted October 10, 2012 Butter chicken pizza. Either as awesome or as horrible a creation as you might expect, depending on your views on curry and pizza and the marriage of the two.
guzziguy Posted October 11, 2012 Report Posted October 11, 2012 Wasn't Prop 8 in CA all about outlawing that? 1
cetoole Posted October 11, 2012 Report Posted October 11, 2012 NY strip, king crab legs, and french fries. I miss my vizzler.
cetoole Posted October 11, 2012 Report Posted October 11, 2012 Yes. And I had a SV steak while I was back this past weekend moving to hold off the withdraw symptoms.
jvlgato Posted October 12, 2012 Report Posted October 12, 2012 Butternut squash arancini, then scallops with swiss chard , then grilled baby octopus.
jvlgato Posted October 13, 2012 Report Posted October 13, 2012 (edited) Affogato for dessert. Never had this before. Donuts dunked in an espresso/ice cream mix. It's been a good night. Edited October 13, 2012 by jvlgato
