cetoole
120 hour ribs. Yum, the meat needed absolutely no coaxing off the bone. Hell, I lost several just trying to flip them in the 30 second/side sear phase.

GPH
The sous vide steak definitely looks delicious, but the plate as a whole looks a bit bland. No side dishes? Kitchen stuff I want but have no money for: - Sous vide machine - Thermomix - New set of knives - Ice cream maker

cetoole
i gotta get me one of those machines. car, student loans, new digs, then sous vide. Yeah, you do. Bed Bath and Beyond with one of their 20% coupons seems to be generally the best deal. Also, if I were to do it again, I would probably get the regular Supreme instead of the Demi. The rack it comes with is actually useful, and to buy it for the demi is an extra $16 or so, so it really doesn't cost that much more. However, in the meantime, if you wanna bring some of that bread over, I would be happy to vizzle(?) up something good. The sous vide steak definitely looks delicious, but the plate as a whole looks a bit bland. No side dishes? Kitchen stuff I want but have no money for: - Sous vide machine - Thermomix - New set of knives - Ice cream maker I have a bad habit of usually skipping side dishes when cooking dinner for myself. It is usually cook something for dinner, then graze throughout the evening on what I guess you could call my sides.

Hopstretch
beer has grain. grain is a veggie. Minor point of order. Grain is a grass, as is all flesh*. So Colin was in fact enjoying a healthy and entirely herbivorous meal. (* Isaiah 40:6). Edited July 28, 2011 by Hopstretch

Hopstretch
Takeout pizza from a new place that opened round the corner. The food is quite good, but let's just say I'm not sure the name would fly in the US. Maybe they could team up with In-N-Out to offer the full experience?
