swt61 Posted December 5, 2010 Report Posted December 5, 2010 Baked Potato Soup. Just made a huge pot.
Absorbine_Sr Posted December 5, 2010 Report Posted December 5, 2010 Baked Potato Soup. Just made a huge pot. That sounds most excellent. Especially since it's bloody cold and windy up here.
NightWoundsTime Posted December 5, 2010 Report Posted December 5, 2010 Roasting two chickens tonight, partly for a black bean chicken chili type thing, to be made with the chicken & stock made from the bones (also tonight, I'm rested up and ready to destroy some birds. Chili to be assembled tomorrow. Only thing no "from scratch" will be the tomatoes, because I hate dealing with tomatoes and don't mind canned. Yes, this is coming to a TamJam near you, along with my last soup that I've still got a frozen quart of, a super chunky sausage, veggie, & northern bean concoction.
jinp6301 Posted December 6, 2010 Report Posted December 6, 2010 just had some bratwursts and rice with a simple salad
Dusty Chalk Posted December 6, 2010 Report Posted December 6, 2010 It's bloody cold and windy up here as well, so I just had some tasty tasty murder meat soup pho.
humanflyz Posted December 6, 2010 Report Posted December 6, 2010 Stir-fry: soy cutlet (cubed), red/green/yellow pepper strips, broccoli, carrots, sugar snap peas, black beans
guzziguy Posted December 6, 2010 Report Posted December 6, 2010 I had a spaghetti omelet. Make an omelet using left-over spaghetti as the feeling, then use left-over spaghetti sauce as the topping. Had some green beans with it.

manaox2 Posted December 6, 2010 Report Posted December 6, 2010 1xpepperoni & 1xsausage slice from NY pizza (wish it was actual NY pizza)

Had some green beans with it. "feeling" should have been "filling", of course. Yuck It's actually quite yummy, especially with Parmesano Reggiano, the "undisputed King of Cheeses".
Dusty Chalk Posted December 6, 2010 Report Posted December 6, 2010 Fillings...nothing more than fillings...trying to forget my...fillings of love... Me: Newman's Own Bavarian Pretzels
Dusty Chalk Posted December 6, 2010 Report Posted December 6, 2010 Yeah, they're pretty yummy. My favorites are the multigrain and the olive. The cheddar one is way up there, too, but I can't always eat those.
luvdunhill Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 i had a Jimmy John's Billy Club sub with bacon and hot peppers for dinner. the guy that delivered it was on a bicycle, and boy did he look cold. it's about 11 degrees outside. i tipped him an extra buck for the frostbite. I like JJ perhaps not as much as Jersey Mikes or Potbelly, but it's a close third.
luvdunhill Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 they deliver, which makes it my favorite. They are damn fast, I have to give them that. Of the three above, they win on the bread category. I like Italian meats, which they don't have great meat compared to Jersey Mikes, but the bread is that extra bit chewy which is badass.
luvdunhill Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 I'm eating Edam and Wheat Thins. I want bread though now
Absorbine_Sr Posted December 8, 2010 Report Posted December 8, 2010 16 F. outside tonight. Perfect to grill a couple of ribeyes. A couple of salads and we were good to go.
mypasswordis Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 Now fermented cheesesticks I left in my backpack for a couple of days and forgot about.
Duggeh Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 Now fermented cheesesticks I left in my backpack for a couple of days and forgot about. Om nom nom.
Sherwood Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 I made labor "inequal distribution of labor breakfast burritos". Yesterday I rendered lard for the tortilla dough, and today I realized I was out of potatoes so I cooked up some frozen Ore-Ida tater tots and threw them in. Turned out delicious. Not sourdough waffle delicious, but better than the construction workers across the street can buy out of their roach coach.
Emooze Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 Some Habeneromash on some crackers. My mouth is tingling.
grawk Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 manale style BBQ shrimp and Italian wheat bread
shellylh Posted December 13, 2010 Report Posted December 13, 2010 i made sourdough waffles for breakfast. really good. No fried chicken?
