Salt Peanuts Posted October 31, 2010 Report Posted October 31, 2010 AlmondJoy. Probably should save some for trick-or-treaters later.
shellylh Posted October 31, 2010 Report Posted October 31, 2010 LOL, we just picked up our trick-or-treater candies and I was having the same thought.
boomana Posted October 31, 2010 Report Posted October 31, 2010 I bought one bag of the little Reese's cups a couple days ago. They are all gone already. I suppose I should go pick up something else in case I get a stray trick-or-treater, but I'm afraid.
NightWoundsTime Posted October 31, 2010 Report Posted October 31, 2010 There's the completed Saag Paneer. Turned out really nice. The fried cheese is a bit chewy, not unlike tofu but with more texture.
Salt Peanuts Posted November 1, 2010 Report Posted November 1, 2010 AlmondJoy. Probably should save some for trick-or-treaters later. I shouldn't have worried. We got 8 trick-or-treaters this year.
jvlgato Posted November 1, 2010 Report Posted November 1, 2010 We get a couple hundred trick or treaters. We get 6-7 big bags and are out a little more than half way through the time period. It's pretty insane.
grawk Posted November 1, 2010 Report Posted November 1, 2010 a microwave leg of lamb that is kinda disgusting followed by peanut patch boiled peanuts to fix the aftertaste
shellylh Posted November 1, 2010 Report Posted November 1, 2010 Why would you microwave a leg of lamb???
grawk Posted November 1, 2010 Report Posted November 1, 2010 it was at costco, and we wanted to see how it was. It wasn't.
jinp6301 Posted November 1, 2010 Report Posted November 1, 2010 random candy from the department post halloween candy bowl
Dusty Chalk Posted November 1, 2010 Report Posted November 1, 2010 Was: noodle soup, but not Pho, and not Ramen. It was still pretty damn good. I think they said the noodles were rice vermicelli, but they seemed thicker than spaghetti...maybe I'm remembering wrong. The round cross-section lubed with broth made them well nigh impossible to handle with chopsticks. There was a whole lot of slurping going on.
shoespear Posted November 6, 2010 Report Posted November 6, 2010 Spicy Nachos added up with a jug of beer.
boomana Posted November 7, 2010 Report Posted November 7, 2010 Sweet potato crusted grouper. I just found another flesh thing I actually like. This is excellent.
Dusty Chalk Posted November 7, 2010 Report Posted November 7, 2010 Mmm...grouper flesh. Me: Maple almond date granola
909 Posted November 7, 2010 Report Posted November 7, 2010 Rosewater saffron with pistachios ice cream by Mashti Malone. so flipping good
Dusty Chalk Posted November 7, 2010 Report Posted November 7, 2010 Ricky's Rice Bowl's bulgogi chicken -- so nom-nom good.
shellylh Posted November 8, 2010 Report Posted November 8, 2010 Lindt dark chocolate infused with red chili. Has a subtle delicious spiciness. Now I really want to try their Cherry-Chili dark chocolate
NightWoundsTime Posted November 8, 2010 Report Posted November 8, 2010 (edited) for flesh and In-n-out That's what she said. Me, chocolate covered peanut butter cookie things. Not bad for an off brand one dollar half rack of cookies. Oh and the grouper sounds excellent Vicki. Something like this? Edited November 8, 2010 by NightWoundsTime
Dusty Chalk Posted November 8, 2010 Report Posted November 8, 2010 Kang Pao chicken from Far East restaurant -- needed some comfort food
boomana Posted November 8, 2010 Report Posted November 8, 2010 Oh and the grouper sounds excellent Vicki. Something like this? Dunno. I didn't make it. It was on a bed of green beans with a spice rum butter sauce.
Absorbine_Sr Posted November 11, 2010 Report Posted November 11, 2010 Parboiled some fingerling potatoes, then threw them on the grill with salt, olive oil and Tandoori seasoning. Main was Santa Fe seasoned chicken breasts. Very tasty.
mypasswordis Posted November 13, 2010 Report Posted November 13, 2010 Breakfast: Bowl of oatmeal w/ honey, bowl of cinnamon toast crunch, 3 cups of milk, a banana, chunk of toasted garlic bread, a few oreos
