jp11801
Katz is incredibly overrated. I say False!! The pastrami never fails to satisfy there, although it's been about 5 years since my last visit. Just plowed through some passable mussels at my local Belgian beer bar. Gulden Draak is pure win though.
Dusty Chalk
Nope, the pastrami did not fail to satisfy...me, that is. My friend was not so enamored, but then he isn't a pastrami nor corned beef fan, so it wasn't the best choice for him. That said, he loved the pickles, as did I. Very generous, crisp, and delicious. I am not distracted by all the negativity here, I still managed to enjoy it, and my memory is that I enjoyed it. And yeah, we basically established that there really isn't any good ramen around DC. shellylh
Whoa Mike, that makes me want to get a Bubba Keg! Looks absolutely delicious.
tyrion
One of the better rib eyes I've made. I still need to dial in the temp control since the keg uses lump coal but I'm hoping to do some low and slow smoking soon. Tonight i'm doing some baby back ribs. Pics to follow. tyrion
It's an all steel Komodo cooker. The one I was looking at is ceramic. Home Depot was blowing these out for $300. I didn't know if I would like This type of grill so decided to go with this instead of the $1000 Big Green Egg.
