Dusty Chalk Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 Certified Angus Steak Burger from cafeteria in my building -- was surprisingly good, so it probably won't last (not meaning that they don't sell good stuff, but that it's probably cost prohibitive). Kind of reminded me of Wendy's, for some reason, need to go try one of their burgers again, haven't been there in years. Quote
aardvark baguette Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 Arby's Cordon Bleu sandwich. Apparently Arbys on Rockville Pike never got the memo about the economy being in the toilet, they're charging HD800 prices for this shit. but its so good Quote

drp Posted May 26, 2009 Report Posted May 26, 2009 Wellfleet oysters. Best of the best in slippery ocean fare. One of our summer rental mates has a connection so we got a large bag over the weekend. I snagged a few dozen to bring home; just shucked'm. Well, more like pryed'm cause I do not have a proper knife; used a medium fine tip screw driver..... We also have striper in the oven; a fish casserole dish that's to die for. Just love summer time in NE. Several of the crew have shellfish licenses so there are always steamed clams, Quahog on the halfshell, and now this special treat. All polished off with Bourbon, cigars, and Red Sox on Saturday nights. Quote
