jwzhan
Anyone here on the WUS sale forums a lot? I have been lurking there in the hopes of finding a Stowa pilot (preferably an Ikarus, but I am not picky), but they sell so fast. If the wait time wasn't August I'd just buy one new. If anyone sees one please PM me here, I get email updates on my phone and I can quickly hop on the forum then. Also why the bloody hell is it so hard to find out when the next New York tax free weekend is? Grrr another watch I want and NYC has the only dealer in the US. TimeZone dot com's Sales Corner might worth a try. I poke around these watch forums from time to time, but usually not the sales corners. Nice watch by the way. The vintage look is very classy. CD44hi
I've been thinking of a traditional chrono, like this one. Have you guys purchased from these type of forums? http://forums.watchuseek.com/f29/fs-longines-heritage-1954-a-704865.html New, advertized here: http://www.prestigetime.com/item/Longines/Heritage-1951/L2.745.4.53.4.html
CD44hi
Sorry, got the models a bit different. I actually like the '54 better.
Dusty Chalk
Watchuseek is fine as long as you know what you're doing -- there are scammers there just like everywhere, but just like head-fi, if you check the feedback, you should be fine. CD44hi
Thanks. I figure I will keep an eye open on that forum
revolink24
I posted these pictures of my Stowa on the other site so I might as well post them here. I promise it doesn't look scratched in real life. This particular camera/lens combination with flash likes to exaggerate flaws.
luvdunhill
Hi guys. Would anyone be willing to alert me of a certain watch if you see it used, or perhaps a good price? I'm interested in the Sinn 756 S or Sinn 856 S or any similar looking recommendations. Key points are: relatively small (<= 40mm say) blacked out thin bezel, non rotating, no numbers (whatever that's called) I think
deepak
Two very nice watches, good choice. Team < 40mm crew ftw
Mario_Fpolis
This is an exclusive watch made for our Brazilian watch Forum. RM2 stands for Relógios Mecânicos #2 or Mechanical Watch #2, Automático for Automatic and Série Especial for Special Series. The Orient logo (coat of arms?) is exclusive, as is the yellow dial, black or Pepsi bezel, and also red or black second hands.
Torpedo
There's a reason why almost always watch pics are taken at ten to two or ten past ten Looks nice. Can you dive with it?
Mario_Fpolis
My bad... I am a lousy photographer, and watches are very hard to take pictures. I love divers and dive with my watches, swimming pool depths, btw. This model have even a He valve. The watch itself is not so scratched, but macro pictures do tend to show all small imperfections, as I suppose You know.
Torpedo
Nice, the 300m inscription seems for good
Cee Tee
^Orient is wholly-owned by Seiko and the finishing is very nice...surprising value. Enjoy!

shellylh
Shelly I have a bunch of NATO straps. I bought mine from Crown & Buckle. What size and color you looking for? I'll take a look there. Looking for an greenish (olive) 18mm, and a dark brown and/or dark blue 20mm. Seems difficult to find a nice darkish brown one. tyrion
I buy and sell all my watches on Watchuseek, Timezone and The Dive Watch Connection without a single issue. Never dealt with any dealers other than those that deal on those sites. There is one in Philly that I've dealt with that is pretty reputable. I should have the name in my office. n_maher
Mike, do you have to be registered at The Dive Watch Connection to see the classifieds? I still casually look from time to time for a decent, somewhat inexpensive analog watch and WUS is just too insane to even look at for me. tyrion
I am not sure whether you have to register. I know there is a post count, etc. requirement to post. I know most of the regulars over there. If you need an assist with a purchase, let me know.
