EdipisReks1 Posted February 13, 2017 Report Posted February 13, 2017 (edited) The warranty will almost certainly be up before the watch needs anything that would be covered under warranty, and Omega will probably honor the warranty anyway. Jomashop also warranties their own items, but you have to send to them directly for their services. I had a couple watches from Joma, and one required service about 9 months after I bought it (bad hairspring, manufacturing defect). It was a painless process, and was relatively quick for a watch repair. Edited February 13, 2017 by EdipisReks1 Quote
MexicanDragon Posted February 13, 2017 Report Posted February 13, 2017 I got some from Jomashop and had a great experience.**BRENT**Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk Quote

Dreadhead Posted February 14, 2017 Report Posted February 14, 2017 (edited) Thanks Reks, they have a sale on it right now so I did reach out to see if I could order and lock in the price. Edit: Nope. They can't and haven't carried for more than a year apparently. Edited February 14, 2017 by Dreadhead Quote
Grand Enigma Posted February 14, 2017 Report Posted February 14, 2017 Another nerd watch day. Pairs well with AirPods. The kids love it, you can double tap and Mickey states the time. 2 Quote

Dreadhead Posted February 14, 2017 Report Posted February 14, 2017 Yeah about 25% more. Still good relative to list. Now looking at Chanel and Chopard. Quote
Grand Enigma Posted February 15, 2017 Report Posted February 15, 2017 If anyone is interested. Going to be posting elsewhere as well. Shoot me a PM. Open to trades and such.Got the watch as part of a trade a year or two ago. Is a sport watch and was used as such so it does have some scuffs here and there on the bracelet. Quote
grawk Posted February 15, 2017 Report Posted February 15, 2017 why bother making the same post twice? :b I have a buddy who might be interested, shoot me a pm with what you're looking to get. Quote

Dreadhead Posted February 15, 2017 Report Posted February 15, 2017 Neither Hermes or JLC seem to have any watches that she likes. I know Chanel is overpriced (whatever that means in the context of luxury watches) but they are nice looking watch that will work long term and this chronograph is 200m rated so she can swim in it etc. Quote

Dreadhead Posted February 15, 2017 Report Posted February 15, 2017 I know! I try to explain that to her as often as possible but she does not seem to accept it. 3 Quote

Hopstretch Posted February 15, 2017 Report Posted February 15, 2017 Cartier? They make some very nice women's pieces. Or a 34mm Oyster Perpetual Date? Quote
Grand Enigma Posted February 15, 2017 Report Posted February 15, 2017 Would be the "safe" option. I've always been a fan of the silver on stainless. Works well with all attire. Quote
Dreadhead Posted February 15, 2017 Report Posted February 15, 2017 I found a Cartier I found fetching and sent it to her but considering she got up at 4am to work I doubt she will look today. 10 year is on Friday and I'd like to order it before. I'm probably going to get a Grand Seiko SBGA031 for her to give me. I don't think she wants to go Rolex as everyone at work has a Rolex. Quote
EdipisReks1 Posted February 15, 2017 Report Posted February 15, 2017 (edited) Chanel isn't terribly priced, actually. I don't think it is the case with that particular watch that you linked, but many Chanel watches now use in-house movements, which is a nice touch. I believe that the particular J12 you have pictured is 41mm in diameter, by the way, which is rather large. What Cartier are you looking at? Edited February 15, 2017 by EdipisReks1 Quote
Dreadhead Posted February 15, 2017 Report Posted February 15, 2017 Yeah it is bigger than I would prefer but she has substantial wrists and even my Breitling Emergency did not look bad on her. I believe that is a ETA movement but it works and is 200m which is good. I liked this: Quote
