grawk Posted March 17, 2013 Report Posted March 17, 2013 You'll probably need adapters to use the nato/zulu with the core.
MexicanDragon Posted March 17, 2013 Report Posted March 17, 2013 Heh. I was thinking about a Nato strap for the Vector a few days ago. **BRENT**
tyrion Posted March 17, 2013 Report Posted March 17, 2013 Does the Core use spring bars like a typical watch? If so, I have some 24's. Send me your address and I will ship one up. I will check for colors later. Brent same for you. I'm pretty sure I have at least a couple.
MexicanDragon Posted March 17, 2013 Report Posted March 17, 2013 Suunto Vector, black on black on black. **BRENT**

Voltron Posted March 17, 2013 Report Posted March 17, 2013 Anybody going to go for the first handmade watch from Detroit named after shoe polish?
mrarroyo Posted March 17, 2013 Report Posted March 17, 2013 Love that Shinola! But way too many watches, maybe if a sold the 18K President that I have worn like 5 times in the last 13 years. 1
mikeymad Posted March 17, 2013 Report Posted March 17, 2013 I don't know shit - but I know that's a watch.
Dreadhead Posted March 17, 2013 Report Posted March 17, 2013 I will likely take the plunge. Would rather white but the limited edition appears to be black.
MexicanDragon Posted March 18, 2013 Report Posted March 18, 2013 Hey guys. A buddy of mine has a couple Breitling B-1s, and he's wanting to get rid of one. He has both a blue and a black face version. If there's anyone interested, LMK and I'll get more info and whatnot. **BRENT**
Dreadhead Posted March 19, 2013 Report Posted March 19, 2013 I will likely take the plunge. Would rather white but the limited edition appears to be black. Decided to skip for now
archosman Posted March 22, 2013 Report Posted March 22, 2013 I had an RGM and hated the buying experience. The watch arrived and stopped working 3 days later. I sent it back to RGM and they say I will have it back in a week. Three months go by, with them ignoring my emails the whole time, and I finally call them. Their answer is that watch is having problems keeping time over the course of a few days and they cannot figure it out. My response is "Holy shit, dude, this is an relatively expensive timepiece." They will not give me my money back or any other reasonable accommodation I got the watch a few days later and it seemed to work fine while I owned it, but the buying experience was not good. I sold it with full disclosure and a huge discount to the buyer. Wow. If that's the case that is total bullshit. I'm not a watch maker but I know exactly how to fix it. If within a week's time they can't resolve the issue just replace the movement to keep a happy customer. Saw an article on them in Watch Time a couple of months ago and never would have figured they would bust your balls on either no refund or a replacement. If it was me and could tell that the watch was not dropped I would replace it pronto through FedEx... if I want to maintain a reputation. That is too much money to have lying around for 3 months with no enjoyment. Kinda sorry I recommended them now.
grawk Posted March 23, 2013 Report Posted March 23, 2013 panatime.com has good straps for the money. Beyond that, it depends on what you're looking for. I paid $85 for an authentic caiman strap for my divers watch from a guy on the replica forum I participate on.
archosman Posted March 23, 2013 Report Posted March 23, 2013 (edited) http://www.strappedfortime.com Bought a few from them. Fast shipping and was satisfied with their products. Edited March 23, 2013 by archosman
tyrion Posted March 23, 2013 Report Posted March 23, 2013 SNPRStrap.com makes some nice straps. I've owned a couple of them. Joe is a nice guy to deal with. The above recommendations are excellent as well.
archosman Posted March 25, 2013 Report Posted March 25, 2013 Almost forgot... http://www.holbensfinewatchbands.com/
Dusty Chalk Posted March 26, 2013 Author Report Posted March 26, 2013 57mm 57mm 57mm Sorry, even I (who wears a Venom [50mm]) won't go that far. That's ridonkulous.
n_maher Posted March 26, 2013 Report Posted March 26, 2013 I get two distinct images in my mind when picturing a watch that large. One is Flavor Flav and his clock, the other is the phone that was marketed back in the 80s for old people that had like 1" sqaure buttons so they were easy to read and press. Yeeeaahhh boyeeeee! 1
MexicanDragon Posted March 27, 2013 Report Posted March 27, 2013 ... Flavor Flav and his clock... Yeeeaahhh boyeeeee! Does any else REALLY want to see a video of Nate saying/performing this? **BRENT**
Dusty Chalk Posted March 27, 2013 Author Report Posted March 27, 2013 I think you'd have to buy him the watch.
Dusty Chalk Posted April 11, 2013 Author Report Posted April 11, 2013 This isn't fake -- yes, it's a face made entirely out of lum: You won't be able to sleep with it in the same room. In fact, you probably shouldn't even bring it in to movies with you, people will ask you to "turn it off". It'll probably be the visual equivalent of Black Sabbath to Coelacanthes, though.
