cetoole Posted November 19, 2011 Report Posted November 19, 2011 He looks a bit old for your daughters.
morphsci Posted November 19, 2011 Report Posted November 19, 2011 I would never buy pants branded incotex.
cetoole Posted November 19, 2011 Report Posted November 19, 2011 That is all the grocery store had, Shelly.
jvlgato Posted November 19, 2011 Report Posted November 19, 2011 Boy, that's a lot of soda! Had to look up Incotex ... they look really nice, but I have to agree with Jim on the name. Speaking of Jim, thanks, Jim ... Me:
Voltron Posted November 19, 2011 Report Posted November 19, 2011 Good work John! Incotex are great pants. I have a couple pair.
Fitz Posted November 19, 2011 Report Posted November 19, 2011 Only 20 bottles Colin? It should last him through the weekend, hopefully.
tyrion Posted November 19, 2011 Report Posted November 19, 2011 Any opinions on Ardbeg Alligator? Total Wine has some for $119 a bottle. When I saw Incotex I figured it was time to make fun of some of you but then looked them up and they don't look half bad. I think I'll pass on the ones that sell for $395 however.

I like Alligator - but it is a bit high on the price (for an non-age peat monster). There is a little bit more wood influence, ash and smoke. If they have any I would steer you towards "Airigh Nam Beist" 1990 vintage and will be going away.
justin Posted November 19, 2011 Report Posted November 19, 2011 the monitor. no new computers/screens from Apple until they stop use of the glossy displays.

Almost grabbed some Caol Ila 12 the other day...fond memories of the 18 too. But, the last couple "classics" I bought weren't to taste: Highland Park 12 (bitter and not as sweet), Laphroaig 10 (not as phenolic or strong). Another I stopped purchasing was Abunadh. Early batches were so good... Kinda scared to lose the <smoky bacon fat> in the Caol Ila. Anyone know if it is still a crazy beast? P.S. Don't drink V.E.P. as fast as I do. (Because then it is gone.)
slwiser Posted November 19, 2011 Report Posted November 19, 2011 SPL Phonitor Fostex HP-P1 Beyer DT1350 HD800 Apple iPod Touch 64GB I was downgrading/sizing but took a HD800 in as part of a payment for my KGSS and Stax and started enjoying the HD800 so much I thought I needed to get something like the SPL. These changes are all within the past two weeks. It had been over two years since any previous significant changes. Oh well, so much for best intentions.
spritzer Posted November 19, 2011 Report Posted November 19, 2011 Some small transformers for a new project, what's the smallest Stax amp I can possibly build. Has to be tubes and fully balanced. As if I needed any more projects...
Dreadhead Posted November 19, 2011 Report Posted November 19, 2011 Netgear N900 wireless router to replace my 6 month old Zyxel router and access point. Amazing that one router nowcovers my whole house and outside better than the two others. I had even bought 2 different types high gain antennas for the Zyxel that were supposed to increase the range.

VPI Posted November 19, 2011 Report Posted November 19, 2011 Canon 16-35 f2.8L. I think this is the only non-super zoom L glass I do not own so I figured it might fit nicely as an everyday lens as I am getting tired of dragging around so many primes.
emelius Posted November 19, 2011 Report Posted November 19, 2011 ^^Bayerische Staatsbrauerei Weihenstephan has a new beer called White Hoplosion that I'd like to try...haven't seen it around yet... & I think a Quad is next in the Ovila series...Cheers...

Absorbine_Sr Posted November 19, 2011 Report Posted November 19, 2011 Great minds think alike... We also bought Kasteel Rouge today. Mostly for Debbie's sisters on Thanksgiving. I also was lucky enough to get some Fever Tree Tonic and Ginger Ale as our Binny's started carrying it. Also scored some Peychaud's Bitters and Fee Bros. Orange Bitters. Binny's near us has stepped up their game.
morphsci Posted November 19, 2011 Report Posted November 19, 2011 ^^^ Cool. That is the one I usually go to. The last time I was there, the selection of bitters and mixers was mighty slim.
