Come up to Oak Park and I'll give you one of my extras, good sir.

Nice grab Ric :).

Nice selection! I haven't tried the Double Rye, keep us informed.

Thanks! I suppose you're the one I can blame for this. :P

I've had a hard time finding much rye around here period. I did see the Old Overholt too, that's the "panther piss" one right? It was only ten bucks, which alone was enough to scare me away.

I would definitely stay away from Old Overholt. Rittenhouse 100 is pretty good for an inexpensive rye. Looks like some Sazerac making at Chateau le Fitz.

I like the Ritt. Overholt was chosen as we just to stick it in the freezer and then take shots in college. It's not great. I'm not sure of you can still get Jim Beam Rye, but it's probably between these two in price and quality.

Very nice Fitz!!! Please stay far far away from Old Overholt. The only way I can drink it is with a bunch of cola - really not good. Look for Wild Turkey Rye, it is not too hard to find usually and isn't too pricey.
