shellylh Posted June 13, 2011 Report Posted June 13, 2011 (edited) are they finally back in stock? i bought my 35mm F/2 because i couldn't find that lens in stock anywhere. According to amazon, they will be in stock on June 16th. They seem to be in stock at B&H but cost $259 instead of $199 though. I should get one of those... You should. Voltron Posted June 13, 2011 Report Posted June 13, 2011 Very cool and very retro Gene. Curious how you like it.
Salt Peanuts Posted June 13, 2011 Report Posted June 13, 2011 Color me jealous, Gene. On topic, I got a gravy separater. I really like it.
Augsburger Posted June 14, 2011 Report Posted June 14, 2011 Paid for two passport photos and processing fees to the State Department for two passports. Hopefully, no more students will bail on this high school service project to Costa Rica in July and it will come off without further hitches. Nothing like total Spanish immersion and community service all rolled into one to teach these southern California kids there is more to life than studying and movies. The parent's and friends of one of the students leading the trip are educators from Costa Rica who have organized a pretty full agenda of local business tours, visiting with local families and tutoring grammar school children. A great way for these girls to end their summer vacation and prepare for their senior year of high school. If my wife can get her paperwork processed soon perhaps we can take a trip somewhere for wine tasting too.
emelius Posted June 14, 2011 Report Posted June 14, 2011 i want to go back to costa rica...& drink their coffee...
tyrion Posted June 14, 2011 Report Posted June 14, 2011 My wife and I had a great time in Costa Rica. I wouldn't mind another 2 weeks down there.
morphsci Posted June 14, 2011 Report Posted June 14, 2011 Congratulations and thanks. I was thinking hard about that one.
blessingx Posted June 14, 2011 Report Posted June 14, 2011 Me=this ... Keep us updated. So considering. Moth Mania! You must have a giant flame in Mayberry.
Voltron Posted June 14, 2011 Report Posted June 14, 2011 (edited) You're welcome Jim! I held off for a whole day and then figured I had to take the opportunity. It's always burning, Ric! Edited June 14, 2011 by Voltron
Augsburger Posted June 14, 2011 Report Posted June 14, 2011 The food was great, the beaches were clean and sparsely populated and driving around the country was easy. Getting used to the four foot long iguanas and all the monkey's (sorry Dinny) took a while but that's what the beer is for. Al,you have now been inducted into the Moth owners hall of fame.
bozebuttons Posted June 14, 2011 Report Posted June 14, 2011 Very nice AL, I picked up a Enigma Oracle balanced ATH-D2000.
Hopstretch Posted June 14, 2011 Report Posted June 14, 2011 Moth Mania! Saw that on Audiogon yesterday and bet myself $20 you'd buy it. Off to spend winnings on beer.
skullguise Posted June 14, 2011 Report Posted June 14, 2011 Finally took the Sennheiser 600 plunge. Have owned 650's twice and 580's twice. Even though I'm not listening too much to quailty dynamics, I figured I owed it to myself to try this. Thank you Paypal balance
