Voltron Posted October 28, 2010 Report Posted October 28, 2010 I think you'll like that Ransom Mike. Good stuff.
cetoole Posted October 28, 2010 Report Posted October 28, 2010 I agree. Mine's served me well Mine too. Have the M16-13LE, only stopped carrying it because I wanted something smaller and with plain edge, so got a Benchmade 555 which I carried until moving somewhere it wasn't a good idea to carry such things.
Absorbine_Sr Posted October 28, 2010 Report Posted October 28, 2010 I think you'll like that Ransom Mike. Good stuff. Right you are sir, although I still think my favorite is Bluecoat.
grawk Posted October 28, 2010 Report Posted October 28, 2010 I carried most of the time in manhattan. But you're right, in your job, you should carry the MP5.
VPI Posted October 28, 2010 Report Posted October 28, 2010 Colin is an engineer, he does not get a machine gun. The M16 knife is legal in NYC though, I have one in my bag most days.
shellylh Posted October 28, 2010 Report Posted October 28, 2010 Can I use a brick to sharpen the knife as well?
shellylh Posted October 28, 2010 Report Posted October 28, 2010 Panasonic LX5 - will be here tomorrow!
emelius Posted October 28, 2010 Report Posted October 28, 2010 to capture the looks on your victims' faces...
HDen Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 Enjoy that rum edit: I see from the drink thread you already are!
deepak Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 I have been meaning to buy one of these
luvdunhill Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 ZOTAC ZBOX-HD-AD01 and Seagate Momentus XT HDD. My first AMD processor in quite a while (Neo X2 L325)... gotta buy local I guess. For what it is, it has nice specs. ^^ pretty impressive little setup, I like.
The Monkey Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 I was surprised to learn that the same guy who invented the aeropress invented this:
Voltron Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 Jim, what are the bottles 1st and 3rd from the left? Looks like fun times for sure. I bought a World Series t-shirt for my secretary, a WS black and white baseball for my mom, and an official WS baseball that was "on the field" (prpbably in a large pallet of similar balls).
Wmcmanus Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 Frick! I just missed (by 5 minutes) a good deal on Audiogon for a VPI HW-17 record cleaner (only $650, half of the $1,300 new retail).
morphsci Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 Jim, what are the bottles 1st and 3rd from the left? Looks like fun times for sure. I bought a World Series t-shirt for my secretary, a WS black and white baseball for my mom, and an official WS baseball that was "on the field" (prpbably in a large pallet of similar balls). The first one is China Martini (Calisaya bitters) and the third one is Wasmund's Rye Spirit. Congratulations on the Giant's spanking of the Rangers.
grawk Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 I just made my annual renewal for mobile me family pack. $70 on amazon, instead of $150 from apple, wewp.
Pars Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 Variac (thanks for the rec Nate!). Variable AC Output Transformer MAX.20A (Metered Variac) - eBay (item 120631655275 end time Nov-07-10 14:34:08 PST) Now I just need to work up the nerve to use it on the arc welder power amp I am trying to fix for my brother. The one that was trying to start his house on fire
Voltron Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 Good luck with that Chris. It looks like it had a nice little campfire going already.
n_maher Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 That is some serious carnage, best of luck with the repair!
