Smeggy Posted August 16, 2010 Report Posted August 16, 2010 Mmmm, nice lens! I just got one of these Another $200 goes swirling down the toy drain
Salt Peanuts Posted August 16, 2010 Report Posted August 16, 2010 How do you like it?! Looks fun. I've only used the lens for a day so far, but I like it. It's so much wider than anything else I've used it'll take me a while to use it well. I'm hoping I'll get to use it a lot at the Acadia National Park when I visit my folks up there this weekend.
Nebby Posted August 16, 2010 Report Posted August 16, 2010 At 10mm it's striking just how wide it is, took me a good amount of time to get used to it. Very fun lens though!
zippy2001 Posted August 16, 2010 Report Posted August 16, 2010 Cookies from the Honolulu Cookie company... Onolicious shortbread! Aloha
Salt Peanuts Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 Some cookware for wife that she's been wanting for a while.
Voltron Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 Some cookware for wife that she's been wanting for a while. Nice, but I think you are just doing it to guarantee the flow of Chik Fil A Peach Shake deliveries.
Salt Peanuts Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 Nice, but I think you are just doing it to guarantee the flow of Chik Fil A Peach Shake deliveries. They sure don't hurt. Unfortunately, she goes back to work at the end of the month so there'll be no more peach milkshake deliveries.
morphsci Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 Starbucks reserve Galapagos San Cristobol (whole bean) x2, Dried orange zest, green peppercorns
morphsci Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 (edited) The orange zest will be used to make an Amer Picon facsimile using a recipe by Jamie Boudreaux and the green peppercorns will be used for making peppercorn flavored vodka. The coffee is to help keep me awake over the next couple of weeks. Never really messed with flavored beers when we were brewing. A few more years and we will probably get back into brewing. Nebby Posted August 18, 2010 Report Posted August 18, 2010 bastard. EDIT: By the way, nice score, nebby. Details please. Thanks, I would say the same for your purchases but I have no knowledge whatsoever of alcohol The TV is a Sony 52" EX700; I was originally shooting for a 46", but when Dell had a sale on the 52" I figured "why not?".
