Augsburger Posted August 9, 2010 Report Posted August 9, 2010 Building more hiding places for the snakes? Vickie, I never thought of that. My hand was forced by the landscaping guys misinterpreting my request that they trim back some plantings into " rip out every damn thing you see that isn't a rock". I guess I am now going to be labeled herp friendly, or I can dust the rocks with a can of cayenne pepper.
Dusty Chalk Posted August 9, 2010 Report Posted August 9, 2010 Or you can just develop a devotion towards snakes. Be wary of snake handlers, though. Me: exactly one bottle of beer (North Coast Old Rasputin Anniversary Bourbon Barrel Aged Stout).
Aimless1 Posted August 11, 2010 Report Posted August 11, 2010 Hope it smokes as nice as it looks. I had a pipe stage 25 years ago - preferred custom pipes at the time. Enjoy
morphsci Posted August 11, 2010 Report Posted August 11, 2010 (edited) Well technically not me. The wife bought this for the off days from her now 22 mile training runs. Edited August 11, 2010 by EdipisReks fixed link
morphsci Posted August 11, 2010 Report Posted August 11, 2010 It's more important for allowing me to do something productive during meetings, such as the one I am at right now.
Salt Peanuts Posted August 11, 2010 Report Posted August 11, 2010 Aren't these HC mandatory reading? Along with this - No, not that Michael Jackson.
swt61 Posted August 11, 2010 Report Posted August 11, 2010 I like this one. Yes, but I hear it's only allowed to age to year 11, then the bunghole is opened. Sorry, I couldn't stop myself.
Voltron Posted August 11, 2010 Report Posted August 11, 2010 Yes, but I hear it's only allowed to age to year 11, then the bunghole is opened. Sorry, I couldn't stop myself. 11? Couldn't you at least say 18?
morphsci Posted August 11, 2010 Report Posted August 11, 2010 if you don't have it, get the Jim Murray guide, as well. The Whisky Bible or the Complete Book of Whisky?
Absorbine_Sr Posted August 12, 2010 Report Posted August 12, 2010 A new sofa and loveseat, a six pack of Two Brothers Domaine DuPage and a 375 ml bottle of Lucid Absinthe. Sounds like a party.
luvdunhill Posted August 12, 2010 Report Posted August 12, 2010 $300 worth of SMD parts. Those Vishay TNPW resistors can really add up.
guzziguy Posted August 12, 2010 Report Posted August 12, 2010 (edited) Some stuff to help with DIY. Guess I won't have many excuses now. And a TPA Placid power supply kit. This is the latest version with two SMT chips. Please notice how nice TPA was by soldering them to the board before shipping, unlike the sadist that sold me a digital volume control.
