Dusty Chalk Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 Me: orange juice...and beer. (Penn Brewery Brewer's Reserve St. Nikolaus Bock -- it's a doppelbock. And the orange juice is Whole Foods brewery 365 branch organic orange juice not made from concentrate.)
n_maher Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 Must be a guy thing. Just the phrase "assemble it fully" has me yawning. It's a nerdy DIY thing. All "assemble" means in this case is either find a friend willing to help lift it or rent an engine crane since it weighs the better part of 350 pounds.
guzziguy Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 Or you could just fly Biggie in to do it himself. Of course, feeding him might get expensive.
Fitz Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 Or you could just fly Biggie in to do it himself. Of course, feeding him might get expensive. I'd be more worried about the beer cost.
manaox2 Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 Must be a guy thing. Just the phrase "assemble it fully" has me yawning. Funny I found this on the web today.

I always go straight to the tools required section, in hopes I'll have an excuse to buy a knew tool. That rarely is the case however. Buying tools is great...Buying tools to put together other tools: Priceless!

spritzer Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 I'd be more worried about the beer cost. Mmmm beer.... 350pounds would be a easy as pie.

Then buying more to calibrate the ones you used to calibrate the other ones.
morphsci Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 How about buying tools to calibrate your other tools. Then buying more to calibrate the ones you used to calibrate the other ones. and then buying tools with which to smash your tools so that you have an excuse to buy more tools! I like the way you guys think.

swt61 Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 I heard you like tools... Sorry, couldn't resist. Colin is dreamy! Speaking of which...I think Colin should name his first born son Rusty.
en480c4 Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 My Woot! Kindle arrived today. I'm not sure I could've justified the cost of the DX, but at $150, I could satisfy my curiosity. While I still value the feel of a nice book, I don't need more stuff. I need to buy fewer books (though some WILL be bought) and sell some that I have for space, but I will never want to stop reading. So we'll see how this fits the bill.
Dusty Chalk Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 Most people I know prefer the smaller one. Yeah, yeah, that's not what he/she/it said...
mrarroyo Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 How good is the iBook software in the iPad? I am kind of trying to justify getting one.
morphsci Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 You can buy ebooks from Apple, Amazon and BN using the appropriate apps on the iPad so you are not limited to a single ebook vendor.
tyrion Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 A case of Jai Alai IPA and a case of assorted 22 oz. bottles.
agile_one Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 ^^^ I thought you weren't going to Tampa? Is there a good ccb source in G'ville? Matt and I will miss you while we spend sat at ccb world headquarters sampling their finest.
tyrion Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 They sell it in Gainesville, at Dorn's, Total Wine and various Whole Food locations. I bought the above at all three. I would love to be there. I have to be in Fort Myers Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. If Matt is still around, maybe we can meet there or Cock and Bull.
swt61 Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 ... meet there or Cock and Bull. Now that would be a fantastic name for a gay bar!
Voltron Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 Forgot that Claire dropped by City Beer for me and picked up two bottles of Cascade's limited release The Vine.
