GPH Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 I bought a 16GB wifi iPad yesterday. I changed my mind on the device after trying it a few times. I decided to buy one to perform a more extensive test and see how it fits in my lifestyle and decide if I keep it or not. So far I love the thing...
Salt Peanuts Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 I bought a 16GB wifi iPad yesterday. Nice! I was really tempted to grab an iPad instead of iPhone, but in the end, went with iPhone since I figured iPhone would be of more use to me (as well as get more use). This, of course, assumes I receive an issue-free iPhone like couple of folks here (and not get one like Billy's).
deepak Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 How many of them do you have? As for me, ordered an iPhone 4. 3
shellylh Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 50 of these I am assuming these are uncirculated and cost more than $50? What are you planning to do with them?
Voltron Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 Your paper money will be useless in the End of Days!
luvdunhill Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 those are quarters, right? my guess is he just needed laundry money. or for a bar fight?
shellylh Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 those are quarters, right? my guess is he just needed laundry money. I assumed they were American Eagle silver dollars. The American Eagles Program of the United States Mint I wanted to buy one to make a money clip - the cheapest one I could find was around $20.
aardvark baguette Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 1 oz. silver gold eagles. They were ~ $20 each. I didnt have enough discretionary money for gold coins this paycheck. Not interested in bothering w/ anything less than 1 oz. coins.
deepak Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 seems that buying dollars for $20 is a bad investment. What about $50 coins for $1510 U.S. Mint Online Product Catalog Though they were around $900 when I bought them.
Voltron Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 Bought some investment beer. Gonna hold onto it and let it appreciate. Until I get thirsty again.
mypasswordis Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 Birgir's titanium knob will probably appreciate in value.
morphsci Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 ^^^^ There's just something inherently wrong with that statement.
Dusty Chalk Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 I don't appreciate appreciation. I just buy because I don't have, and want. And then don't drink right away. Seems kind of pointless when other people do it, which is telling... What was my point again? PS I have exactly two of those -- one of either Victor or Victoria and one of the Paradox (albeit Islay). I don't remember why I bought the Victor/Victoria. Which means I probably bought it on the suggestion of a person working at the store.
Voltron Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 Another thing for MPI to try to investigate at the next meet/whisky tasting.
manaox2 Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 anejo, mate, unless you are mixing. I'm fucking poor and this was 3/4th the price. I wouldn't mix either. Sauza will do for that.
manaox2 Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 do you have an alley nearby? Not with any foot traffic sadly. Smack just isn't selling like it used to in my new neighborhood.
manaox2 Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 i wasn't suggesting selling smack. I have a computer, why would I rob people in alleys? Or were you suggesting I live there? heh.
manaox2 Posted July 2, 2010 Report Posted July 2, 2010 A conversation between a drunken Justin and a drunken homeless person would be entertaining I imagine.
