deepak Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 Not so much, just a few minutes and you are up and running. PITA if someone comes over with an older laptop that can only do WEP.
tkam Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 Nice, Todd! When are you moving in? No exact date yet, but should be sometime in the next 2-4 weeks.
Salt Peanuts Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 Amazon.com: Planetary Vol. 4: Spacetime Archaeology (9781401209964): Warren Ellis, John Cassaday: Books About frickin' time, too. I placed the initial pre-order for it over an year ago.
Salt Peanuts Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 wow, no kidding. i'd like to see desolation jones finished, too. I had always meant to read that - worth picking up?
aardvark baguette Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 My own personal web domain (my name), for 10 years. It'll be nice to have one that doesn't lapse even if I forget about it for a while. Looking to do Photoshop stuff in spare time for a little extra income again. I hardly get the chance to use it much anymore.

If you haven't paid for hosting yet and aren't a professional web designer you might have a look at Build a Website - Squarespace, if I hadn't paid for a few years of hosting in advance (or gave a shit about Nugget Audio) I'd give them a shot. Their $8/mo seems really reasonable given the value-add that their free design software represents. You can get 10% off for life if you use the offer code "TWIT".
Hopstretch Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 I'm not very impressed with either aardvark.com or baguette.com. Boo.
aardvark baguette Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 oh, i already signed up w/ Godaddy for hosting. Not the cheapest, but i was lazy and i've used them in the past quite often. After a while its just easier to keep everything in one place when possible. (work/personal)
aardvark baguette Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 I'm not very impressed with either aardvark.com or baguette.com. Boo.i shoulda bought those too
Aimless1 Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 G-Lite w/DPS for my "trailer" rig. Now if it pairs well with the Apogee Duet and AT cans I'll be ecstatic. Until I hear it let's just say I'm skeptical.
Salt Peanuts Posted March 9, 2010 Report Posted March 9, 2010 A tank of gas. It appears to be getting more expensive of late.
Wmcmanus Posted March 9, 2010 Report Posted March 9, 2010 The other night I subscribed to the mlb.com premium package, $119 for a year. Got a sample of it last year during the playoffs and world series. I kind of like having a baseball game running in the background when I'm online.
Dreadhead Posted March 9, 2010 Report Posted March 9, 2010 a tow hitch for my Civic so I can get a hitch mounted bike rack for it to replace my plastic rack. It gets installed next week.

Voltron Posted March 9, 2010 Report Posted March 9, 2010 I have had the cheap subscription for years and it is all I need. I don't watch on the computer but I like being able to listen wherever I am.
Augsburger Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 Round trip ticket to Arizona for something necessary that I wish wasn't
guzziguy Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 Sorry to hear that you are going for less than happy reasons. I love visiting Tucson. I went to grad school at the U of A. I still have several friends there.

guzziguy Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 Then they'll have a good time. Hang in there. Let me know if I can do anything to help.
