Aimless1 Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 I've got wood: Sweet. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do mine.
mypasswordis Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 Congrats on the W5000, I hope you like them. Always was curious about the AT woodies but they were and still are too expensive for me.
cetoole Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 lol, a $18 diode SiC? Congrats on the W5000, I hope you like them. Always was curious about the AT woodies but they were and still are too expensive for me. Plus, you hate closed, no?
mypasswordis Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 I do hate closed, but that doesn't stop me from wanting to hear them. Also, some of them are real purdy...
CherryBomb Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 First house, HE-5 and a '79 Jeep CJ 7, all in the last month. Time to back away from the computer so I don't get anymore impulses.
mypasswordis Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 Heh, if you impulse bought a house on the internet, you've got to be pretty loaded.
CherryBomb Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 Just stupid, and credit-worthy. I did look at it first. Anyone know a good plumber?
mypasswordis Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 I did look at it first. Not stupid. Congrats! Now you get to deal with all the fun things mortgage has to offer.
CherryBomb Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 Thanks. Mortgage has already been sold to Wells Fargo. Took less than a month. So much for the charming, small town bank I started with. Still have the boxes from the mattresses out front:
en480c4 Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 Wow, a CJ and a Wells Fargo Mortgage... I've had both, but would never dare to try both at the same time!
CherryBomb Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 Honestly, way more excited about the CJ. It was a good find.
en480c4 Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 Pics? I've had a '62 CJ-5, a '78 CJ-5 Golden Eagle and an '85 CJ-7... Plus a '99 Wrangler Sport, '04 Rubicon and currently have an '05 Unlimited.
swt61 Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 Pics? I've had a '62 CJ-5, a '78 CJ-5 Golden Eagle and an '85 CJ-7... Plus a '99 Wrangler Sport, '04 Rubicon and currently have an '05 Unlimited. That's a lot of vehicles to have owned. You're obviously older than your pics make you out to look.
CherryBomb Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 Best pics I have at the moment. . . these were actually taken by the previous owner. I will take my own this weekend after I clean it up:
grawk Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 That's a lot of vehicles to have owned. You're obviously older than your pics make you out to look. No, they're jeeps, they die quickly.
CherryBomb Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 Don't tell me that. Denial is better.
Dusty Chalk Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 Heh, if you impulse bought a house on the internet, you've got to be pretty loaded.Well he just got US$45M out of NBC...[/running gag]
Dusty Chalk Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 Wet blanket is wet.Yeah, I should have phrased that moar positively/imperatively/differently: get the PWT.
CherryBomb Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 Well he just got US$45M out of NBC...[/running gag] Dude. Wrong late night guy. I don't drink from an Eisenhower mug; I drink from this mug!
en480c4 Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 That's a lot of vehicles to have owned. You're obviously older than your pics make you out to look. No, I just have a love-hate relationship with Jeeps, which results in a scary turn-over rate for vehicles for me. I've always loved Jeeps, but I also drive. A lot. So they would wear on my nerves, so I'd get something else. But after a while without one, I'd want one again. Throw in a '99 Grand Cherokee, an '02 Grand Cherokee,an '83 DJ-5 (Postal Jeep), a '99 VW Jetta VR6, an '01.5 Passat GLX, an '02 GTI, and a '94 Corolla between those CJs and Wranglers. And I'm only 33. Yes, I have problems. The plus now is a have a low-mileage Unlimited, I walk to work and my girlfriend's Passat is perfect for road trips. So I finally feel settled into something. That CJ looks super clean... Nicely done. Being out west must be nice. I had my '62 shipped up from down south before resto-modding it, and it was soooooo nice to have something that wasn't covered in rust.
CherryBomb Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 My brother is the same way; new 4x4 ever other month.
Fitz Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 Nope. And you don't have to drop a lot on a new DAC. Just get yourself the new HiFaceSabre9016. Now with external battery power! watdafuck?
digger945 Posted January 29, 2010 Report Posted January 29, 2010 I've got wood: Pretty good cans if you can get them adjusted to your noggin just right. I'm gonna see if Smeggy will fix mine so the cups will pivot up and down.
tyrion Posted January 29, 2010 Report Posted January 29, 2010 Perfect Wave. I couldn't let dinny have all the DACses.
