Bob_McBob Posted November 16, 2009 Report Posted November 16, 2009 I shoot Canon, but three of my four flashes are SB-24s, because they're cheap and work well with RF wireless. It seems kind of wrong in a way... Also: I have a fucking watch problem It's Woven's fault.
swt61 Posted November 17, 2009 Report Posted November 17, 2009 How many watches do you own Dusty? Are you a lefty?
Dusty Chalk Posted November 17, 2009 Report Posted November 17, 2009 Too. No. I don't think they consider this a lefty watch, a lot of them are like that.
Voltron Posted November 17, 2009 Report Posted November 17, 2009 But you could only wear that on your right arm and work the dials in any normal fashion.
Dusty Chalk Posted November 17, 2009 Report Posted November 17, 2009 (edited) I take it off to set the time twice a year and that's it. It's a diver's watch, so the one big one in the middle you have to screw down and un-screw up anyway, so even if it was the other way, you'd have a hard time manipulating it. I wear it on my left hand. I don't even know (nor care) what the other two buttons do. (If anyone's curious, I've got the manual right here; I just have no reasons of my own to crack it.) Oh, and now: the next Stripmall Architecture album. Edited November 17, 2009 by Dusty Chalk
morphsci Posted November 17, 2009 Report Posted November 17, 2009 Damn. I am definitely not a watch person, but I may just have to buy that.
Dusty Chalk Posted November 17, 2009 Report Posted November 17, 2009 (edited) It's a limited edition: Nixon Barney's collaboration. (2nd link to purchase.) If you are anywhere near a Barney's or Barney's Co-op, you can see it first. Nixon also sells similar ones without all the gold bling on their website as well as on Amazon. I should warn you -- they're huge. I used to wear them only once or twice a week until I stopped hitting myself in the forehead from the momentum every time I looked at the time, then every other day. Now I could wear them every day, but I don't by choice. Edited November 17, 2009 by Dusty Chalk
Dusty Chalk Posted November 17, 2009 Report Posted November 17, 2009 Wear it upside down on left hand? No, I wear it correctly (in order to tell time without contorting).
laxx Posted November 17, 2009 Report Posted November 17, 2009 Plane ticket to LA and hotel. Leaving this Friday. =T
Augsburger Posted November 17, 2009 Report Posted November 17, 2009 Half case of Valdez Pinot Valdez vineyard grapes are used in some of the Paul Hobbs pinots. Ulises Valdez is kind of a neat story too.
Augsburger Posted November 18, 2009 Report Posted November 18, 2009 Six bottles of Kosta Browne Single Vineyard Pinot :jbl: and two ear molds. Oh yeah, and some mother of pearl.
guzziguy Posted November 18, 2009 Report Posted November 18, 2009 Six bottles of Kosta Browne Single Vineyard Pinot :jbl: and two ear molds. Which is more expensive, the Kosta Browne or the things you got the molds for?
