luvdunhill Posted November 2, 2009 Report Posted November 2, 2009 too soon, man, too soon. agreed, that was cold.
swt61 Posted November 2, 2009 Report Posted November 2, 2009 You mean I gotta wait on the MJ jokes? Damn!
swt61 Posted November 2, 2009 Report Posted November 2, 2009 You're the busiest retired guy I've ever met!
Salt Peanuts Posted November 2, 2009 Report Posted November 2, 2009 Netflix membership. I'm looking forward to see how well (or not) the streaming over PS3 works.
n_maher Posted November 2, 2009 Report Posted November 2, 2009 Netflix membership. I'm looking forward to see how well (or not) the streaming over PS3 works. That program is up and running?
grawk Posted November 2, 2009 Report Posted November 2, 2009 mystery alaska somehow I'd managed to never own this
Salt Peanuts Posted November 2, 2009 Report Posted November 2, 2009 That program is up and running? Should've said "upcoming." It's supposed to be ready sometime this month.
mrarroyo Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 256 MB PCI Video Card for my old PC. The old one went kaputz ...
feckn_eejit Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 ah the good old days................
Sherwood Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 Cairn Fog3: The source game continues, unabated.
luvdunhill Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 USBtinyISP AVR Programmer Kit (USB SpokePOV Dongle) [v2.0] - $22.00 : Adafruit Industries, Unique & fun DIY electronics and kits It's been a while, so I decided to learn something different. I've done Winbond and PIC programming, so hopefully AVR programming is like riding a bike I'd rather just push asm to the uC, as that's what I do in my day job, but looks like I'll have to deal with programming languges
mypasswordis Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 ah the good old days................ Damn that's cramped.
Duggeh Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 ah the good old days................ Voodoo 3 1st revision?
manaox2 Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 Voodoo 3 1st revision? Holy shit, I loved that card. That damn computer with Pentium 2 450mhz on win 98 lasted my family ten years happily. My current laptop just made six.
Duggeh Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 I still have my voodoo 3. 3dfx boxes were cool.
deepak Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 If we're talking video card nerdiness I still have my Voodoo5 5500 sealed in box that I got with Best Buy employee discount. Not more than $20 I believe If only it was a 6000...
Duggeh Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 The 6000 is legend, but still suffered from the massively wrong decision to go with FSAA instead of hardware T&L.
Salt Peanuts Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 Nice! Yep. It was bit expensive (though cheap for glass tiles), but we really liked the tiles. Thanks again for the info, Ian.
boomana Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 (edited) Nice poster for the office. EDIT: Looks like they took the picture off their website after I bought it. It was an Iggy Pop poster from a 1980 Detroit show. Edited November 3, 2009 by boomana
