Dreadhead Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 just kidding. I dunno tbh. I'll need to nail down a solid rig first, I suppose. And rid the place of cockroaches (....whoa) What? I invited you to my house so why can't I invite myself to your house
aardvark baguette Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 Oh, I'm gonna 'bomb the bajezuz out of those forces'. I'm also having most of the 1st floors' wood floors sanded and finished after I get the disgusting carpet out. I'm not sure if I can bomb before then and have enough time to air out for them to breathe, or if it will have to be done afterward. Either way I wont be moved in anytime next week at a minimum.
aardvark baguette Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 What? I invited you to my house so why can't I invite myself to your house Everyone's always welcome of course, I just wouldn't have much for people to listen to yet. And the presence of seats would be preferred, no doubt
Dreadhead Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 No rush dude. Enjoy making the house yours It's a fun and daunting experience at the same time (like most things). Whatever you do don't add up the bills though. It can prove depressing.

grawk Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 I haven't even opened parallels in over 2 years at this point. I'm officially windows free.

Hopstretch Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 Keep us posted on how you like it - I've been thinking of getting one as I face the inevitability of needing to move my speakers into the living room. Making room for a turntable, eh?
n_maher Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 Making room for a turntable, eh? My $$ is on project: Little Salty.

en480c4 Posted October 25, 2009 Report Posted October 25, 2009 Haj, If you want, I can track down the eBay place I got my glass mosaic backsplash tile from... Under $10/sf and free shipping, and I was very happy with it.
Augsburger Posted October 25, 2009 Report Posted October 25, 2009 That is a fantastic price for glass tile and it looked awesome in the install.
en480c4 Posted October 25, 2009 Report Posted October 25, 2009 eBay user ID is eg124 He's still offering free shipping... 11 sf per case, $90-105/case. Tough deals to beat. I wouldn't hesitate to get more from him if I needed some.
Salt Peanuts Posted October 25, 2009 Report Posted October 25, 2009 Thanks - we've already found a couple that we like. Now I just need to figure out how much we actually need.
en480c4 Posted October 25, 2009 Report Posted October 25, 2009 I thought I ordered conservatively, and I didn't end up with any whole extra sheets. Considering the price, it probably wouldn't hurt to be safe.

Considering the price, it probably wouldn't hurt to be safe. I usually buy extra tile just to make sure that if I ever need more then I thought or any needs replacement in the future that I have some that matches the original batch.
Dusty Chalk Posted October 25, 2009 Report Posted October 25, 2009 Those fucking meteor hits usually take out 4 at a time, at least, sometimes 8 or 9.
