Dusty Chalk
Speaking of long time -- I finally got those LED lights I ordered a couple months back (first shipment got lost, and I didn't say so right away), and people asked for reactions: Meh. They're definitely not bright enough for lightbulb replacement, I'll have to try a brighter wattage (IIRC, they were 3 watts).

Hopstretch
Welcome. That's a pretty good step, too. I just bought this refurbished Thorens 160. Seller threw in a Grado Gold cartridge and Pro-Ject Phonobox II at fairly close to eBay prices plus install and setup for free. Nice guy. Seemed like a decent place to start with vinyl while staying in the hundreds. Now I guess I need some, like, actual platters, man. Pars
Looks nice. Probably good that you got the Grace arm vs. one of the Thorens TP-16 Mk. x (II probably for that vintage).
swt61
Stretch, I had that same setup about 18 months ago, including the Grado Gold, but with a Hagerman Bugle phono stage. I think you'll be very happy, and that unit looks to be in great shape. That was in my TT experiment sessions. I liked the Yamaha PF-800 a bit better, but just marginally.
