Absorbine_Sr Posted October 18, 2007 Report Posted October 18, 2007 I just ordered this for my wife: Any Terry Gilliam fans out there? http://www.fire-house.net/Metropolis/html/TB.html
JBLoudG20 Posted October 18, 2007 Author Report Posted October 18, 2007 ACCENTWALLS! Ian you must have accent walls.
Salt Peanuts Posted October 18, 2007 Report Posted October 18, 2007 Ian, you must find youself some "audiophile grade" paint to paint your new place! Actually, I'm surprised no one has done it (audiophile grade paint) yet, I mean they already sell pebbles as tweaks.

postjack Posted October 18, 2007 Report Posted October 18, 2007 Since I only have 5 gigs left on my internal drive, I bought an external: Seagate FreeAgent 500GB I like that it turns on and off automatically with the computer. I have to flip enough switches as it is everytime I sit in front of the computer (CPU, Monitor, cdp, integrated amp, headphone amp, unmute button on phono stage, turntable). I got this in yesterday since newegg is superfast. Great drive so far, even the box is great, it has lots of little cool sentences all over it, very hip. The unit looks great, too, with a nice yellow/orange light strip down the side that lights up when its on. Not to bright, just subtle enough to look nice. It does turn on and off with the computer just fine, which is good since its the main reason I bought it. I copied all my FLAC rips to it last night, music plays from it just fine. We'll see how it stands the test of time, but it does come with a 5 year warranty, which I think is pretty damn good for hardware.
philodox Posted October 18, 2007 Report Posted October 18, 2007 A pair of converse all stars. My shoes were pretty much falling to pieces at work yesterday and they were the only thing that didn't suck at the winners near work. My wife made fun of me a bit saying she had the same shoes in grade 6, but they are comfy and didn't break the bank.
Salt Peanuts Posted October 18, 2007 Report Posted October 18, 2007 I used to wear Chucks all the time. Man, I miss them. I remember when I use to be able to get them for under $20 when I was a kid. Now-a-days, they cost about $40.
Salt Peanuts Posted October 18, 2007 Report Posted October 18, 2007 Well, after looking around and not finding anyone who actually has one in stock, I just ordered Cambridge Audio Azur 840C through a local dealer.
Salt Peanuts Posted October 18, 2007 Report Posted October 18, 2007 let us know how you like it! Will do. Not sure when I'll receive it (my local dealer was out of stock, too) but here's hoping I'll have it soon, but not too soon - I've no amps right now. LOL.
n_maher Posted October 18, 2007 Report Posted October 18, 2007 Well, after looking around and not finding anyone who actually has one in stock, I just ordered Cambridge Audio Azur 840C through a local dealer. Whoa! Congrats, Haj!
saint.panda Posted October 18, 2007 Report Posted October 18, 2007 In a spur of sports madness, I bought a Head S6 tennis and Dunlop something squash rackets. Never played both, but I thought I needed some alternatives to soccer once I enter working life.
Salt Peanuts Posted October 18, 2007 Report Posted October 18, 2007 Whoa! Congrats, Haj! Thanks - the DV-50 is gone and I had to replace it with something. In a departure from the norm, I got a silver one so it'll match with my other components.
Chekhonte Posted October 18, 2007 Report Posted October 18, 2007 HD enclosure I also bought beautiful katamari for the 360.
Salt Peanuts Posted October 19, 2007 Report Posted October 19, 2007 I loved å¡Šé‚. I'm hoping they'll make one for Wii.

postjack Posted October 19, 2007 Report Posted October 19, 2007 Well, after looking around and not finding anyone who actually has one in stock, I just ordered Cambridge Audio Azur 840C through a local dealer. ack, and I just responded to your PM! Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, Thursday is a long day, what with work and then class afterwards across town. Grats on the player! Its a great unit, I'm pleased as punch with mine.
Chekhonte Posted October 19, 2007 Report Posted October 19, 2007 I loved å¡Šé‚. I'm hoping they'll make one for Wii. I don't see why they wouldn't make one for the wii. If they are able to use the motion controller well then I don't see why it wouldn't be the best version yet.
