naamanf Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 Will you be modeling the new seasons collection at Can Jam? I'm not quite sure I would be comfortable knowing how the oil change is going to be worn.
cetoole Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 I am kinda interested in the tire, however. Just bought a copy of Metallica S&M.
Voltron Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 Tonight I bought some serious hooch for CanJam. Trying very hard not to crack open any of the bottles. Tempted. Trying to be good.

Voltron Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 I cried when Spock died. Now I need a drink. . .
swt61 Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 Three sets of aluminum case feet for my upcoming recase of the Beta22 and Darwin.
Hopstretch Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 Fallout 3 and Killzone 2. Time to get the PS3 out of mothballs.
guzziguy Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 Fallout 3 and Killzone 2. Time to get the PS3 out of mothballs. We just bought a PS3. My wife (Stacy) wanted a game machine and I wanted a Blu-ray player. Anyway, I'm a total newbie when it comes to computer gaming. Could you recommend a couple of games and places to shop for them? Also, could you please point me to a decent PS3 gaming site? Thanks!
Hopstretch Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 (edited) PS3 Game Reviews from Metacritic I have a handful of games that I'm done with and you're welcome to. I'll throw them in the duffel bag on the way to CanJam. Edited May 22, 2009 by Hopstretch
guzziguy Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 PS3 Game Reviews from Metacritic I have a handful of games that I'm done with and you're welcome to. I'll throw them in the duffel bag on the way to CanJam. Thanks. I'll bring a couple of wine bottles that I'm done with for you. OK, I'll bring a full bottle or two. What do you like in wine?
guzziguy Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 what's the word? I don't understand what you are asking?
diebenkorn Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 what's the word? B-b-b-bird, bird, bird, b-bird's the word
Voltron Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 B-b-b-bird, bird, bird, b-bird's the word A boobie is a kind of bird.
tyrion Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 A boobie is a kind of bird. I learned that from aerius.

guzziguy Posted May 23, 2009 Report Posted May 23, 2009 "What's the word? / Thunderbird / How's it sold? / Good and cold / What's the jive? / Bird's alive / What's the price? / Thirty twice." come on, guys. YouTube - Thunderbird Wine - The Tony Auton Band I have no memories of any of these, even though I'm definitely old enough to remember. That means one of two things: 1. I had the good sense and taste to ignore everything Thunderbird. 2. I abused Thunderbird as a teenager and when I finally got clean, all memories of that horrible experience were obliterated.
JBLoudG20 Posted May 23, 2009 Author Report Posted May 23, 2009 VTG Craig and I sniped a pair on Y! Japan. I really shouldn't spend the money, but for the price, I'm happy I won.
n_maher Posted May 23, 2009 Report Posted May 23, 2009 VTG Craig and I sniped a pair on Y! Japan. I really shouldn't spend the money, but for the price, I'm happy I won. Wait, I feel like I've heard this tune before?
JBLoudG20 Posted May 23, 2009 Author Report Posted May 23, 2009 Wait, I feel like I've heard this tune before? What can I say? They are one of my favorites, and I have sellers remorse every time I let them go. I have a little bit of spare cash right now, so I'm rebuilding a headphone rig for when I move out in the near future. I was contemplating k702, HD650, AD2k (on the very upper high end of what I an afford), but when it came down to it, I knew I'd rather have the VTG again. The hunt began...
wrecked_porsche Posted May 23, 2009 Report Posted May 23, 2009 Congrats Jay! Nice to hear that you were the one who got them! I'm on the opposite end, I might be moving out early next year so my audio gear is being sold one by one, slowly but surely. One by one I'm thinning the herd.
JBLoudG20 Posted May 23, 2009 Author Report Posted May 23, 2009 Congrats Jay! Nice to hear that you were the one who got them! I'm on the opposite end, I might be moving out early next year so my audio gear is being sold one by one, slowly but surely. One by one I'm thinning the herd. I had a major snafu with my taxes this year, and had about $7k come back to me. I am in a very comfortable position for move out time, and want to build a great bang-for-buck system to use at my desk. Now I'll be watching for a Denon 2900 steal to round it out. Oh yeah, here is the auction: http://translate.google.com/translate?u=http://page18.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/k117025985&hl=en&langpair=ja|en&tbb=1&ie=EUC-JP Minty fresh!
