ojnihs Posted September 28, 2007 Report Posted September 28, 2007 that's for you guys to figure out and clogs rule, i had a pair of Bostons, but I couldn't wear them because the navicular on my right foot started to hurt like hell after 5 minutes of walking around in them
Chekhonte Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 I just bought and installed my first wifi card. I tried netgear and belkin adapters and had problems with random disconnects every 20 minutes or so. I bought a 19 dollar card at my local computer store and it works with out a hitch. go fucking figure.
Salt Peanuts Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 Yeah, wifi card/adaptors are fun like that. I've had few over the years that just flat out refused to work with some routers - so much for having industry standards.
aerius Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 2 contracts for gasoline futures on the NYMEX.
grawk Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 I look at my pipes occassionally, but haven't smoked any of them in years
grawk Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 you should. i got my Croci Amica today, it's really nice. I quit smoking them when i decided I wasn't old enough for a pipe yet
hungrych Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 "step into the realm you're bound to get caught / and from this worldly life you'll soon depart" <- ?uestlove those motherfuckers define what a hip-hop show is. completely electrifying. This sucks, my friend can't go. Hopefully someone else will... this is the second time I've bought tickets to stuff and people can't go and I lose the money! Grah!

JBLoudG20 Posted September 30, 2007 Author Report Posted September 30, 2007 lol 400 bucks. 150 more and you can get es2's I DEF don't want a custom.
jinp6301 Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 I DEF don't want a custom. whyz not?
Salt Peanuts Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 whyz not? No resale value. There's no way for you to try out a pair. Two main reasons I've personally held off on custom IEM, and the cost, of course.

JBLoudG20 Posted September 30, 2007 Author Report Posted September 30, 2007 No resale value. There's no way for you to try out a pair. Two main reasons I've personally held off on custom IEM, and the cost, of course. That's exactly it. I want the option of reselling to recoup some cost, if I feel like it. Plus, you need to get inpressions made, which isn't easily done for me, and thats MORE cost to the headphone, which cannot be recouped. The only cusotm option that is viable is the livewires, and there have been reports now the the sound is much less than impressive, and everybody is just goo goo over buying customs.
hYdrociTy Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 Well the superfi 5pro don't fit very well at all. Initially it feels snug but the large size of the body and they way that they don't go in very deep means they have good initial stability but poor final stability. Maybe since your ears are probably much larger than mine it works well. Just thinking of how the triple fi is even larger, I can't imagining anyone using them comfortably. I mean its for portable use, I'd take perfect fit and worry free use over a bit of sq and economy in price any day- after having used so many iems... \
JBLoudG20 Posted September 30, 2007 Author Report Posted September 30, 2007 I am using the super.fi 3 right now, and I have no issues with the fit. I did the 'flipside mod' where the cables are reversed, and the body of the IEM fits more snug into the ear. I'll be able to get the triple.fi next weekend when I head back home, so I'll see whats up with it then.

philodox Posted October 1, 2007 Report Posted October 1, 2007 Massey Hall is a great venue... They even sometimes play good music.
Salt Peanuts Posted October 1, 2007 Report Posted October 1, 2007 The pipe looks real nice, Reks. It's a good thing I don't smoke, or I would be spending money on pipes, too.
Salt Peanuts Posted October 1, 2007 Report Posted October 1, 2007 I used to collect production/limited production/custom knives. They weren't cheap either, though majority of my collection are gone now and only my the ones I use remain.
