Knuckledragger
Good question. The future wiring arrangement of my setup is more than a little unclear. I'll let you know when the sawzalls have stopped.
aardvark baguette
I never realized Quad offered an active monitor. Everything I've seen had standard binding posts. Interesting....

Hopstretch
For the wife's office, where she can't get away with speakers. This will hide under the monitor stand. As for the encomiums, we shall see.

krrm
I also want a bass battery behind the grille. On second thought, I got a DT770 so I don't want a bass battery.
Hopstretch
Oh ye of little faith! Attaching the rechargeable battery to the woofer diaphragm in order to increase its mass sounds like a potentially cunning idea to me, but then I am an ignoramus. Hopstretch
we have a large commercial fridge at work full of beer Gotta love tech companies! Yeah, we had a vending machine full of free beer in my old office in Amsterdam. Friday afternoons were reserved for "team-building" (ie. giant piss-ups), darts and betting on whether the country manager and the head of the works council would get into another fistfight. Good times.
