You and everyone else. That they haven't done it yet really defies belief. But then again, I havent bothered adding an e-sata pci slot to my computer yet.

The drobo 'share' is a joke though. Its their way of adding Ethernet, but it attaches via USB. Bye-bye throughput. :palm:

let me know how that works out. i bought a BlacX at work earlier in the week, and i'm thinking about buying a few for at home, along with the quietest 1 TB drives i can find, when i have money again. the BlacX is damn slick.

Well add me to the BlackX club, just bought one for the office plus a 4G SD card for my daughters camera. Now I have a real urge to search out more music to rip.

I was referring to the Drobo. In the case of the BlacX it means it has eSata so if your computer has a eSata port you can use that. Definitely the way to go because it has a much higher transfer rate than USB and Firewire.

A box of wet food, another litter box, and another brand of cat litter to try out.

The kittens like the new brand litter so much that they haven't touched the litter box with the brand of litter we had been using.

Heh, the K181DJ is here to stay but the PortaPro must go. That, and all these other headphones lying around.

*prays to the USPS gods that are bringing O-FRB1s to hurry up*

i sold the apl philips to vicki the apl denon has migrated to my speaker rig.

Oops, my memory is not what it once was. I think. Anyway, you are in effect swapping the apl philips for the modwright sony. What changes are you expecting (or getting if it's already arrived)?

I bought 6 pairs of socks yesterday and a can of compressed air.

There is absolutely nothing more refreshing to me than putting on a pair of socks that have never been worn before. If I ever get extremely wealthy, I am never going to wear the same pair of socks twice. Ever ;).
