deepak Posted January 29, 2008 Report Posted January 29, 2008 Buying a crapload of music... Led Zep Physical Graffiti unremastered
ojnihs Posted January 29, 2008 Report Posted January 29, 2008 I should be getting my 2C51 tube from FedEx today. From what I hear it makes the lunchbox sound quite a bit nicer. I really wish the lunchbox had more tube rolling options. Wonder if you could use an adapter with it...

ojnihs Posted January 29, 2008 Report Posted January 29, 2008 cool! I just bought two Bendix 2c51 as well to play with. sweet. i also ordered two 6FC7 to roll the input tubes with but tubedepot has apparently been out of them for quite some time. oh well.
Dusty Chalk Posted January 29, 2008 Report Posted January 29, 2008 A small stack of CD's from my favourite local CD store that's closing in a couple months.
luvdunhill Posted January 29, 2008 Report Posted January 29, 2008 send Mikhail an email, he's the master of tube adapters. he'll need an un-adaptor + an adaptor
ojnihs Posted January 29, 2008 Report Posted January 29, 2008 send Mikhail an email, he's the master of tube adapters. sweet, thanks man. i'll send him an email. i hope there isn't some physical limitation as to why there aren't more rolling options. cause that'd suck.
en480c4 Posted January 29, 2008 Report Posted January 29, 2008 I don't know... I liked the fact that options were limited with the LB. The idea of tube rolling has no appeal to me. The LB is an inexpensive amp that sounds much, much better than it has any business sounding, but in the end, it is what it is and probably isn't worth searching beyond the drop-ins. IMO, of course. I thought the volume pot was a much bigger issue, with poor tracking. But I'm guessing that has more to do with the fact there's a lot crammed into not alot of real estate.

Iron_Dreamer Posted January 30, 2008 Report Posted January 30, 2008 Nikon SB800 flash from B&H having 500 PM space is awesome When I had it, I thought so. Now that I'm back down to normal, I don't really mind at all. It helps that I don't get a bajillion "how do I fix my soundcard" PM's anymore, thanks to the ubiquity of USB-DACs.
jinp6301 Posted January 30, 2008 Report Posted January 30, 2008 Yea, but its a pain the the butt to find which PMs are worth saving or not
guzziguy Posted January 30, 2008 Report Posted January 30, 2008 It turns out the sometimes it doesn't matter if you save them or not. They just disappear.
Fungi Posted January 30, 2008 Report Posted January 30, 2008 Download all as (whatever) -> delete Pretty cool stuff. Not like you need it ON HF as long as you have it in some form.
Nenso Posted January 30, 2008 Report Posted January 30, 2008 having 500 PM space is awesome ok.. I can't help but say this.. but.. I f... hate that donation I made. Some of those ppl even gave me like paragraph long replies.. I think.. like Elephas!.. damn it.. crash more newb raid array doesn't mean anything if you don't back it up lol
