ojnihs Posted December 3, 2007 Report Posted December 3, 2007 I've never really concerned myself with how the hats look. But I have several fedoras and several fur trappers hats. wish i was that way. i think it's the shape of my head or something. they just don't work.
tkam Posted December 4, 2007 Report Posted December 4, 2007 Too lazy to take my own pics tonight so I'll just use ones from the manufacturer:
DigiPete Posted December 4, 2007 Report Posted December 4, 2007 Too lazy to take my own pics tonight so I'll just use ones from the manufacturer: Nice. I'm thinking of getting the 3808Ci
jinp6301 Posted December 4, 2007 Report Posted December 4, 2007 Too lazy to take my own pics tonight so I'll just use ones from the manufacturer: holy shit thats a lot of inputs/outputs
tkam Posted December 4, 2007 Report Posted December 4, 2007 It is a lot of inputs but it still doesn't hold a candle to denon's 5805:
postjack Posted December 4, 2007 Report Posted December 4, 2007 Boris & Sunn 0))) - Altar 3xLP. The ebay seller was not sure which color this was. He mentioned an LE of 1000 copies, so I'm crossing my fingers that this is the black one (the black one had the lowest amount of pressings at the aforementioned 1000 copies). Both "Pink" & "Black One" are breathtakingly good, so I imagine this one would be pretty cool.
postjack Posted December 4, 2007 Report Posted December 4, 2007 also bought the boris "pink" icy pink vinyl and the sun 0))) "oracle" clear vinyl while I was at it.
ojnihs Posted December 4, 2007 Report Posted December 4, 2007 It is a lot of inputs but it still doesn't hold a candle to denon's 5805: good...god...
PFKMan23 Posted December 4, 2007 Report Posted December 4, 2007 The 5805 is crazy expensive like over 4k.... How much is the 4308?
Dusty Chalk Posted December 4, 2007 Report Posted December 4, 2007 See that thing that says Denon Link? You should connect a Denon player into it and listen to some DVD-A's and SACD's, if you don't already plan on doing so. I was thinking of either getting the Denon pair, or a Pioneer pair. Oh, and: nice!
spritzer Posted December 4, 2007 Report Posted December 4, 2007 Did anybody notice the power consumption on the right...13A
tkam Posted December 4, 2007 Report Posted December 4, 2007 The 5805 is crazy expensive like over 4k.... How much is the 4308? I got my 4308 for $2k (msrp is $2500, the 5805 retails for $7.2k I believe. Did anybody notice the power consumption on the right...13A Well it does do 170W x 10 channels
spritzer Posted December 4, 2007 Report Posted December 4, 2007 Well it does do 170W x 10 channels Not with all channels driven at once, apparently.
deepak Posted December 4, 2007 Report Posted December 4, 2007 Grado SR-325 we'll see how this beech sounds with some wood and flats
Grand Enigma Posted December 5, 2007 Report Posted December 5, 2007 Grado Sonata Reference ewwww sounds like like the band is in a small padded room... the statement sonata is a much better option! I mean enjoy!
John D. Posted December 5, 2007 Report Posted December 5, 2007 Just bought a new roll up garage door with opener.
postjack Posted December 5, 2007 Report Posted December 5, 2007 ewwww sounds like like the band is in a small padded room... the statement sonata is a much better option! I mean enjoy! ack, more grado haze huh? Well I bought it because the PH-1 phono stage emits pounds of hiss in its high gain mode. Bad. Otherwise the platinum statement sounds great. We'll see, I'll install it and align it tonight.
