Voltron Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 Next thing you know Mike's gonna be making cocktails.
jvlgato Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 You must really like it, John! Heh. Just wanted to make sure. You'd think by now, I'd figure out that even if I see an error message, I'd check to see if it went through, anyway. But Nooooo, I just keep hitting 'Enter'.
shellylh Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 Nice, Shelly! Me- Peachtree DACiT You will have to tell us how you like it, three times.
jvlgato Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 I can do that! I can do that! ... oh, never mind.
shellylh Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 Never thought about using the pizza stone for baking bread.
guzziguy Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 Yes. Just remember to preheat the oven long enough for the pizza stone to come up to the desired temperature.
shellylh Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 (edited) Yes. Just remember to preheat the oven long enough for the pizza stone to come up to the desired temperature. Shouldn't one always do this, even with pizza. This reminds me that I need to buy another pizza stone (for those times when we have guests that also want to eat). Edited November 14, 2011 by shellylh
luvdunhill Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 Interesting. What does semi-stainless mean exactly?
luvdunhill Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 semi-stainless means it has enough chromium to not be straight carbon, but not enough to really be "stainless." not what i would buy, i'm only interested in carbon. Ah. I noticed that maker seemed to do both and was interested in what it meant. Cool, good luck on the job man!
swt61 Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 Interesting. What does semi-stainless mean exactly? There's a good joke in there somewhere, I just haven't coaxed it out yet.
crappyjones123 Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 Not too early to coax 'em out Steve?

guzziguy Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 Nice Mikey. I really like Alban Vineyards wines and 2007 was a great year so the syrahs should be wonderful. Congrats John.
deepak Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 I like Senns balanced out of Dynamite (to replace my cracked headband HD580)
Augsburger Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 Back from my week away and there was booze waiting in the shipping department... forgot I ordered these earlier this year. Makes for a Happy Monday 2 x Alban Vineyards - 2009 - Roussanne 4 x Alban Vineyards - 2007 - Reva Nice score Mikey! I just received the same, didn't know you were on their list.
jvlgato Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 Thanks all! Woot. Woot. Congrats. Which PS? I went with the regular switching PS for now. I just wonder if it'd make as much of a difference for the Arete as it does for the Peak, considering the extra cash. Todd said he'd still send a Volcano as part of the demo program, so I can hear it for myself. Did you have a chance to compare the two yet?
mikeymad Posted November 15, 2011 Report Posted November 15, 2011 Nice score Mikey! I just received the same, didn't know you were on their list. It took years.. I would just get a postcard every year.. "sorry the gods didn't give us enough grapes".. But then two years ago.. I got a real letter. I didn't have any extra cash at the time, but ordered anyway. Now I can't stop myself from ordering. cheers,
