Dusty Chalk Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 It's a disease I tell ya.Yeah, it's weird, I found myself spending money on watches that I wouldn't spend on anything else -- including headphones, music, speakers, etc. The only way I could quit was cold turkey.
luvdunhill Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 It's a disease I tell ya. I've wanted an MKII watch for a while. I just picked this up: Blackwater MMT (didn't buy the bracelet) nice watch. how much did you get it for? Can I pay you watch hounds to hunt down a watch for me? That's probably the easiest way not to get sucked into the disease, right? Sorta a surrogate type relationship?
agile_one Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 <snip> ... </snip> Can I pay you watch hounds to hunt down a watch for me? That's probably the easiest way not to get sucked into the disease, right? Sorta a surrogate type relationship? Marc ... just take Mike's sloppy 2nds. Seriously, he has a Citizen GMT world timer for $100, and will likely throw in the just acquired Damasko Flieger for a pittance.
MexicanDragon Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 Marc ... just take Mike's sloppy 2nds. Seriously, he has a Citizen GMT world timer for $100, and will likely throw in the just acquired Damasko Flieger for a pittance. FYI... once you start giving Mike money in return for things... it's a slippery slope. Just be careful with it, Marc. You'll wind up just quoting his posts from here about 2 weeks later and saying "+1" or "^ this". Actually, it's not a bad way to live. It's like having a cheap personal shopper. Screw it... go for it. **BRENT**

Dusty Chalk Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 Wine: La Posta malbecs (both varieties), one or two others Beer: Left Hand TNT -- such a bizarre taste explosion in your mouth, had to. Also, Heavy Seas Plank.
Fitz Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 A $3 component video cable for my PS2 to use with my new monitor... composite looks terribad, and I can't use the s-video cable I already have.
manaox2 Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 I invested in BHSE futures. Congrats Stretch! Jealous.
manaox2 Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 Beer: Left Hand TNT -- such a bizarre taste explosion in your mouth, had to. Also, Heavy Seas Plank. I skipped both of those at the store today, but they have my interest. I'll be looking for your thoughts.
Dusty Chalk Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 I skipped both of those at the store today, but they have my interest. I'll be looking for your thoughts.I've had the TNT before -- it's bizarre, and worth trying. Not just complex, but outright confusing. Like being attacked by a trio of taste ninjas. Or a quartet. Possibly a pentet. Not sure (has anyone ever counted the number of ninjas they're being attacked by?). EDIT: Or, you know, dispatched them, or been dispatched by them.
Voltron Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 Awesome BHSE news Stretch! I really love my BHse version.
shellylh Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 Congrat Stretch! I bought two tickets to the Red Sox game for Sunday.

Fitz Posted July 2, 2011 Report Posted July 2, 2011 nice. i really like Oberon. I actually haven't had it before, but I've only heard good things, and the minikeg will be perfect for the holiday.
manaox2 Posted July 2, 2011 Report Posted July 2, 2011 I've had a ton of oberon out of the bottle lately. Watch out for the sediment at the bottom of the bottles.
skullguise Posted July 2, 2011 Report Posted July 2, 2011 Several books, all either books on the Bruins & Stanley Cup Playoffs, or novels & short stories by F Paul Wilson that I didn't already have. Also yesterday, bought some Dow's White Wine Port to try.
Voltron Posted July 2, 2011 Report Posted July 2, 2011 Bell's Oberon is win. Arctic Panzer Wolf is Blitzkrieg Win!
