luvdunhill Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 The Luxardo is good. Nice sub for Noyeaux. Nice Shelly!
morphsci Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 (edited) How does the Luxardo compare to Amaretto? Oh and with all the other awesomeness in the Liquor money shot I missed the Tito's, also interested in your opinion of that. Edited February 27, 2011 by morphsci
skullguise Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 Nice haul indeed, Shelly! If H-C is to be known as a bunch of lushes, at least no one can say it's in bad taste! As for me, got my new Altima yesterday....just in time for more snow and removing the "clean" from my new baby.
Emooze Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 That is some fine automobile Todd. Grats! My damage from today's whisk(e)y festival:
luvdunhill Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 (edited) How does the Luxardo compare to Amaretto? Oh and with all the other awesomeness in the Liquor money shot I missed the Tito's, also interested in your opinion of that. It is amaretto. I've only compared it to the Disaronno. It's sweet, but it has a complex flavor. There is a gift set now, where you can get a small bottle and some cherries that would be the way to go if anyone wanted to try this. I have an opinion on Tito's but it's not favorable... But I will say, one thing is it's an essential bar item for a Texan. At least in Austin, it has a huge following. morphsci Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 Thanks Marc, I will keep my eyes open for the gift set as I am running low on cherries. Also, don't hold back on the Tito's.
aardvark baguette Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 I have a friend that has loves his Nissan. Same color, I believe. He is an absolute psychotic on the roads, so it must be a great car if it pleases him. Seriously, if I know he's out I try to stay off the roads, like how people do on New Years Eve.
Dusty Chalk Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 Aren't you worried about runaway acceleration? Just kidding, I think that's a conspiratorial lie perpetuated by asshole leadfoot Toyota owners. Nice looking car. Me: a couple of Hilary Hahn posters.
mypasswordis Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 lol I'll be wary of any blue Altimas on the road now. I've driven on the Beltway so many times that I may in fact have become a psychotic as well though. The Civic has treated me well, it has been pretty great at accident avoidance in the case of fucktards on the road (so, almost everyday).
luvdunhill Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 Thanks Marc, I will keep my eyes open for the gift set as I am running low on cherries. Also, don't hold back on the Tito's. It's like $11 I think. If for some bizarre reason you cannot find it, I can pick it up. I'm about ready to need another drinkupny "redirect", so the more favors I can do for anyone out there the better
luvdunhill Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 cassia bark, cut arabic gum, powder cinchona bark, cut yerba mate, cut gentian root, cut allspice, whole coriander seed, whole According to the source of these, I"m going to be a monster in bed. Ironically, I'm just trying to get a bit drunker.
boomana Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 I"m going to be a monster in bed. Ironically, I'm just trying to get a bit drunker. Uh...those don't usual go together real well, iirc.
Dusty Chalk Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 ...iirc...LOL. I know that feeling. And yeah, for women, it's okay, but for men, not so much. A little dab 'll do you, moderation is twice as nice, and other proverbial generalities.
shellylh Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 @ Jim: Haven't tried the Tito's yet but thought I should have some in house being in Texas... but now that I have heard Marc's comments on Titos I am probably not going to be in a big hurry to try it. Also, be careful about the Luxardo gift pack, the one they had at my liquor store had cherry jam, not cherries (although the cherry jam is probably good).
swt61 Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 Uh...those don't usual go together real well, iirc. Meh, it works out fine if you're in bed alone. You don't perform that well, but you don't give a shit either.

Anyways, the place I ordered from was really sketchy herbalist. That was just my attempt at poking fun at them

tyrion Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 I have a problem. At least one will be outgoing as a result of this purchase.
tyrion Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 It should be but...I got a pretty nice deal on it. It is a year old, purchased from an AD so it still has 2 years on the warranty.
n_maher Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 I have a problem. At least one will be outgoing as a result of this purchase. That'd be the one I'd keep.
tyrion Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 Thanks Nate. If I can only find a way to get a Planet Ocean as well without selling my audio gear (I'm not).
spritzer Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 A quad deck RK50 for the T2DIY. Every system needs at least a couple of RK50's.... right?
VPI Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 (edited) Mike, great looking pick-up there. I am cornering the ugly watch market now with a Suunto Core All Black, Bell & Ross BR01-92 and Bell & Ross BR03-92 showing up by the end of the week. Then next week the pretty stuff comes.
