shellylh Posted February 25, 2011 Report Posted February 25, 2011 Nice Shelly. Bring on the i5/3G MBA's. That would be nice to have too!
Wmcmanus Posted February 25, 2011 Report Posted February 25, 2011 Quad core MBP! Congrats! I've been tempted myself, but was hoping for SS. Guess I'll just wait for the next generation of MBA, like Mike.
aardvark baguette Posted February 25, 2011 Report Posted February 25, 2011 I'm going to have to buy one when the la cie little disk comes out. Its pointless to pretend otherwise.
Voltron Posted February 25, 2011 Report Posted February 25, 2011 I'm going to have to buy one when the la cie little disk comes out. Its pointless to pretend otherwise. Agreed. It is teh seks. On the other end of the spectrum, I have been chubbed up since seeing the 4-SSD Thunderbolt array that is in the Light Peak demo video. Mamacita!
The Monkey Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 A bunch of Camelbak water bottles. I am very pleased with them. Also, iPhoto '11 because it was easy.
grawk Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 Russian made Zenit Jupiter 11 135mm f4 rangefinder lens + L39 to NEX adapter Red Oxx Gator
shellylh Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 Good stuff like Redbreast 15 and other liquid goodnesses.
grawk Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 damn shelly, you don't mess around. I'm jealous of the 15.
Duggeh Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice. A Negroni with Cynar in place of the Campari and Dubonnet in place of the Rosso is my first choice looking at that delicious line up. I claim it as the Dougroni.
shellylh Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 The Redbreast 15 is goooooood. A Dougroni is the menu for tomorrow!
Voltron Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 Excellent work Shelly! Please report back on the Luxardo and don't hesitate to use the Redbreast in cocktails! You use expensive spirits all the time. That said, how is that other Irish? Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice. A Negroni with Cynar in place of the Campari and Dubonnet in place of the Rosso is my first choice looking at that delicious line up. I claim it as the Dougroni. I haven't tried the Dougroni but I bought a bottle of Cynar last week and started experimenting. Search my last few posts in this thread if you want some more artichokey ideas.

Search my last few posts in this thread if you want some more artichokey ideas. The Black Louth isn't nearly as good as the Redbreast 15 or 12 in my opinion, it brighter as less refined. That said, it is perfectly drinkable on its own and perfectly fine for mixing. But you are right, I should try the Redbreast in cocktails.
mrarroyo Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 (edited) A few LME49720HA, heat sinks, and adpater to roll on a Graham Slee SRGII amp. So far very happy with the sound. Edited February 27, 2011 by mrarroyo
The Monkey Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 The Cynar is interesting stuff. Absolutely vile in theory, but I have to admit that Doug convinced my otherwise irl. Still, I don't see it as a sit back, relax, have a Cynar on the rocks kind of thing.
boomana Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 A bunch of Camelbak water bottles. I am very pleased with them. Which ones did you get, and which ones do you prefer? I also need a good water bottle since all I have is the leaky plastic one I picked up at Walgreens in the dollar bin a couple years ago.
Absorbine_Sr Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 damn shelly, you don't mess around. I'm jealous of the 15. I too am jealous as I absolutely love the 12.
morphsci Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 Wow, excellent haul Shelly. I love the Redbreast 12 so will be waiting to hear about the Redbreast 15 and the Black Louth Single Malt. Looks like good stuff. Also Dinny, I would also like to know what Camelbak bottles you bought.
Salt Peanuts Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 $200 worth of things around the house at BJ's. I don't know how it is we spend so much money every time we go to BJ's.
