Voltron Posted January 3, 2011 Report Posted January 3, 2011 That looks like a party, Mike! What can you cut with that wooden knife, Greg?
deepak Posted January 3, 2011 Report Posted January 3, 2011 That looks like a party, Mike! What can you cut with that wooden knife, Greg? I'll have you know that is the finest butter cutting knife* around. *allow butter to reach room temperature first
boomana Posted January 3, 2011 Report Posted January 3, 2011 Ah, you got the last of the Indian Mysore! I didn't Dan's warning on fb that the end was near until it was already gone. That has been my fav of the old bisbee roasts I've tried. Enjoy!
Augsburger Posted January 3, 2011 Report Posted January 3, 2011 (edited) /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ I am seeing an echo. ?? That looks like a party, Mike! What can you cut with that wooden knife, Greg? That knife is for show, I wouldn't dare dirty it in the kitchen. Sorry about the booties Vicki, they look so comfy too. luvdunhill Posted January 3, 2011 Report Posted January 3, 2011 Nice rum! I just bought some Applejack and some Blackstrap.
jvlgato Posted January 4, 2011 Report Posted January 4, 2011 Synology Inc. - NEW NAS Experience - Products :: DiskStation DS211j and 2 Samsung 1 TB HDs Seems to do everything I wanted at a pretty nice price, and great customer reviews. Running the setup wizard and full disk check now. Keeping my fingers crossed.
morphsci Posted January 4, 2011 Report Posted January 4, 2011 @Mike - Party on my man. @John - Nice. I will be interested in your impressions.
MASantos Posted January 5, 2011 Report Posted January 5, 2011 Nice foot rest from Ikea on sale! And I just ordered the Miles Davis Quintet - Great Prestige Recordings, was looking to get this for a long time!
n3rdling Posted January 5, 2011 Report Posted January 5, 2011 Some tools. Drill, bits, centerpunch, needle nose pliers, panavise, bunch of wire, etc
n_maher Posted January 5, 2011 Report Posted January 5, 2011 Canon S90 so I finally have a grab and go camera.
bhjazz Posted January 5, 2011 Report Posted January 5, 2011 Kenmore canister vacuum. Will the excitement never end? Our old upright had trouble standing, lock mechanism snapped off. New unit has three hepa filters. I'm a little bummed that decent vacuums cost $500 these days.
Knuckledragger Posted January 5, 2011 Report Posted January 5, 2011 My Miele was $400 11 years ago. Mum's WTF-fancy vaccum was $1200 5-6 years ago.
Dreadhead Posted January 5, 2011 Report Posted January 5, 2011 We bought one for around Hoover $200 from home depot that was great. We don't use it much any more since we got a cleaning service.
guzziguy Posted January 5, 2011 Report Posted January 5, 2011 My Miele was a discontinued color and was on sale for $200. It was their smallest and least expensive model. It's still the best vacuum I've ever owned. Edit: I bought it several years ago.
Augsburger Posted January 5, 2011 Report Posted January 5, 2011 Ours was $1100 9 years ago but we never useanymore since we now have all tile or wood floors. I plan on turning it into a record cleaning machine ala VPIs Typhoon some day.
tyrion Posted January 5, 2011 Report Posted January 5, 2011 A Berning EA-230. I had one of these before I changed to my less efficient Amphion speakers. I sold it for almost $200 more than I paid for this one. I have the Manley Stingray, which I do like, with my Zu's but since the Amarra 4 is a preamp, I really do not need an integrated. This will save me about as much as the fine was if I decide to sell the Stingray.
shellylh Posted January 6, 2011 Report Posted January 6, 2011 Canon S90 so I finally have a grab and go camera. Nice! Me: Bitters and orange flower water!
skullguise Posted January 6, 2011 Report Posted January 6, 2011 Had a 50% off at Borders, couldn't resist.....
diebenkorn Posted January 6, 2011 Report Posted January 6, 2011 Soft Machine third on VINYL for 30 bucks
cetoole Posted January 6, 2011 Report Posted January 6, 2011 Not exactly bought, but tailoring for some shirts/pants. And steak/cajun catfish/trout almandine. And a Sapphire HD4550 so I don't have to connect my monitor via VGA anymore, and a 10' HDMI cable to connect my TV to said HD4550, and a few other bits and bobs.
