Beefy Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 Manfrotto 7301 tripod. I picked it up from B&H in the US with shipping, customs paid, and taxes in for cheaper than the best before-tax price in Canada
blessingx Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 Been looking for a used headphone chair for awhile and found a Jeffrey Bernett/DWR Flight Recliner today on Craiglist. Thank you Mr. Bean Bag for your years of service. Like this, but brown leather...
Aimless1 Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 That chair looks comfortable. Enjoy!
blessingx Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 (edited) Thanks. "Armed with experience designing ergonomic in-flight seating for Northwest Airlines, Bernett..." Obviously inspired by, but more comfortable than most of the in-flight seating I've experienced. Should work well and doesn't overpower the room. Edited December 12, 2010 by blessingx
Salt Peanuts Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 Fallout: New Vegas. Because, you know, I have ample time to be playing video games.

laxx Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 An appointment for a tattoo on May 5th.
Salt Peanuts Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 An appointment for a tattoo on May 5th. You had to buy an appointment?
laxx Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 Non-refundable deposit. It's basically the same thing no? I guess I paid for part of my tattoo. Now just have to figure out what I want.
Salt Peanuts Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 Ah, that make sense. Didn't realize one needed a deposit for a tattoo.
laxx Posted December 13, 2010 Report Posted December 13, 2010 Every place I've been to has required one. It's because you book a time slot of an artists day, they don't want their time wasted.
gtp Posted December 13, 2010 Report Posted December 13, 2010 Was supposed to be an Omega Speedmaster 3573, but the jeweler was closed today. Great choice. Perhaps the 2nd most iconic watch ever. I'm wearing my Moon Watch that I hope, someday, to give to one of my children.
blessingx Posted December 13, 2010 Report Posted December 13, 2010 Non-refundable deposit. It's basically the same thing no? I guess I paid for part of my tattoo. Now just have to figure out what I want. Suggestion - don't get your own name scrolled across a throbbing red heart like my friend did.
laxx Posted December 13, 2010 Report Posted December 13, 2010 Great choice. Perhaps the 2nd most iconic watch ever. I'm wearing my Moon Watch that I hope, someday, to give to one of my children. Now that I had a day to think, I'm undecided between a Planet Ocean or a Speedmaster now. =T Suggestion - don't get your own name scrolled across a throbbing red heart like my friend did. I want something that goes along the lines of a space and time theme. One that I was thinking of was possibly a tourbillon movement as a planet that has orbiting moons (replacing the moons with numbers 1-12). And each of the moons having an orbital trail that looks like long exposure sweeping watch hand. Still have about 5 months to decide exactly what I want. Hopefully something will click in my head soon though. I like the guy's style, 2 of my friends have gotten tattoos from him already.
Dusty Chalk Posted December 13, 2010 Report Posted December 13, 2010 Now just have to figure out what I want. ...? Everyone needs an Einsturzende Neubauten tattoo. Me: nothing much, just a garlic noodle soup from Trader Joe's, and technically, it was a gift, so I didn't even "buy" it.

Asr Posted December 13, 2010 Report Posted December 13, 2010 Panasonic Lumix G2. ....anyone want to buy a black Canon S90? PM me. (9/10 condition, all original materials, etc, plus an extra battery. Memory card not included.)
tyrion Posted December 13, 2010 Report Posted December 13, 2010 In a trade made at the deadline last night at Geneapolloza, I took home a Schiit Valhalla from Gene and am sending a Pico DAC and money to be named later. I also bought a Beltronics RX65 radar detector which arrives tomorrow. Unfortunately, not in time to have avoided my 101 in a 70 speeding ticket on Friday on the way to the meet. I will also be paying for body work to my car from the dent some asshole put in the door at New World Brewery.
shellylh Posted December 13, 2010 Report Posted December 13, 2010 Cool chair Ric! @Mike: I thought the Emotiva and Schiit Valhalla made a nice little setup.
tyrion Posted December 13, 2010 Report Posted December 13, 2010 I thought so as well. I should have an HF2 to go along with it soon.
n_maher Posted December 13, 2010 Report Posted December 13, 2010 Mike, If you want modded HF1s let me know...
