DefectiveAudioComponent
Strangely, the soft golden bags do not smell like fruit at all. There is something hard inside. are they filled with coconut flesh?

Voltron
Yeah, I have to get that. Just had my picture taken with the World Series trophy at the ballpark yesterday. Pretty exciting to have my parents (88 & 84), my oldest brother (60) who went the 2nd ever SF Giants game in 1958 with my dad, and my daughter (15) in the pic. Good stuff. DefectiveAudioComponent
I've concluded that it's probably not edible, and that it appears to be some kind of constructed item inside. It's flat on top and on the bottom side, which is useful. I thought it would be safe to put it under my DAC. Clearly, my DAC is now elevated about 1 cm higher than it was previosly. Coconut shell then.

Dusty Chalk
I did not buy this wall of liquor, but if I ever were to take up drinking seriously, this would be one of the first places I'd go. DefectiveAudioComponent
I liked the idea of fruit and vegetables better... but there is a bone-linke shape inside... could also be metal .... At least, the gold feet are functional. Most likely bone matter from some of the young women he's hacked up. And who would really be that surprised? luvdunhill
At least, the gold feet are functional. It's pretty hard to find something that isn't functional for that use.
DefectiveAudioComponent
There were three feet in the package, so the potential for failure was there. It's pretty hard to find something that isn't functional for that use.

penger
USPS priority shipping to California. when did USPS priority become so fucking expensive? it wasn't even a large box. between the Netflix DVD stealing and this new surcharge i was hit up for (for it being a box larger than a mousetrap), i think i'm about done with them. Couldn't use one of the flat rate boxes? I thought USPS Priority is cheaper than its FedEx and UPS equivalents.

Funny, USPS is the only carrier at this point not to have lost a package (or two) for me. I still like Priority Mail for shipping to other side of the country since it's heck of a lot faster and usually cheaper than going with FedEx or UPS Ground. Lack of tracking is still annoying though. My in-laws works/worked for USPS and they still lament the fact the USPS screwed up and missed the boat on becoming THE carrier service in the country.
