cetoole Posted January 30, 2010 Report Posted January 30, 2010 Huzzah. Paid-off car is paid-off -- nice! It's very nice. On top of that, February will be my first month back on good driver status for insurance, which will cut that bill roughly in half.
Fitz Posted January 31, 2010 Report Posted January 31, 2010 Canon PowerShot SD1200 IS... tired of fucking around with my old worn-out digital camera, and I need a small P&S anyways.

n_maher Posted January 31, 2010 Report Posted January 31, 2010 Yesterday 1 sheet of 1/2" baltic birch plywood, cut into 16" x 48" pieces, which I then ripped down to 14" wide shelves 50 1/2" nuts 100 1/2" washers 8 1/2" x 12" pieces of all thread Today we'll find out if I can actually make anything out of this.
n_maher Posted January 31, 2010 Report Posted January 31, 2010 Yup. The hope/plan is to build a large one to sit on my soldering table to hold that rig. We'll see how it goes.
mrarroyo Posted January 31, 2010 Report Posted January 31, 2010 I have wanted a X-10D Tube Buffer by Musical Fidelity for a long time, no real reason but ... Anyways I just won one in eBay for $90.99 including S&H. Should be here in about a week and I will pair it with an X-Can V2 w/ the PinkFloyd Mods. Both will have Little Pinkie's PSU and for some reason I am quite excited.

After paying with PayPal using the link fro eBay I get a message from the seller telling me that eBay has not updated his PayPal user-name and that I need to cancel the payment I made (allegedly to the old account) and re-submit the payment to a different PayPal user-name. However this re-payment would be outside of eBay and although it is $90.99 I am hesitant to follow through. I have sent a question to eBay and waiting for their response. Anyone here ever experienced a similar situation? Thanks.
manaox2 Posted January 31, 2010 Report Posted January 31, 2010 I wouldn't do it. You won't be covered by any protection at all.
n_maher Posted January 31, 2010 Report Posted January 31, 2010 Go with your gut, file a dispute on the first transaction, and contact ebay. The guy sounds like a fraud.

mrarroyo Posted January 31, 2010 Report Posted January 31, 2010 Thanks for the feedback. I cancelled the payment and sent eBay message already. Thanks again.
