postjack Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 Just wanted to confirm this -- they left me a voice mail (when I gave them my PO Box to ship to), and introduced themselves as "OH-poe digital". So there...definitive answer. that is so much harder to say then ah-po. the southern dialect doesn't lend itself well to full diphthongs.
Dusty Chalk Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 that is so much harder to say then ah-po. the southern dialect doesn't lend itself well to full diphthongs. Is that really a diphthong? I mean, it's just like saying "oh-no!", except it's oh-po instead of oh-no. Would you like me to send you an audio recording of it so that you can practice, or would you just like to stick to your lemonade on the porch?

I'll just stick to iced tea on the deck.
swt61 Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 RF15/2/D/A It's not digital, so it may even work when it arrives!
swt61 Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 I meant it in the nicest way. It's not his fault if he's digitally cursed.
n_maher Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 I think you will like it 20% off was too much to pass up.
morphsci Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 20% off was too much to pass up. Even better. Did you get it from Manco? He's a very nice guy in my limited experience with him.
n_maher Posted October 16, 2009 Report Posted October 16, 2009 Even better. Did you get it from Manco? He's a very nice guy in my limited experience with him. I didn't get it from Manco, he was out of stock and another deal popped up.
Hopstretch Posted October 16, 2009 Report Posted October 16, 2009 Yay. Now you can have just one DAC and make it sound like all sorts of DACs! If you give me $20 I'll come and cart all your superfluous DACs away.

mypasswordis Posted October 16, 2009 Report Posted October 16, 2009 Yay for EQ! Nothing wrong with it, as long as it sounds good.
The Monkey Posted October 16, 2009 Report Posted October 16, 2009 And you use it correctly. I can almost guarantee I will not do that.
