n_maher Posted July 30, 2009 Report Posted July 30, 2009 Two rather large, expensive pieces of iron from Ipswich, UK.
deepak Posted July 30, 2009 Report Posted July 30, 2009 Senn HD580 for the computer setup and Shostakovich's complete symphonies (Kondrashin)
Dusty Chalk Posted July 30, 2009 Report Posted July 30, 2009 Which set? I see that Kondrashin has several, one of which appears to be DSD mastered? Or are they actual SACD's? Never mind, will go look it up. I need more Shostakovich.

Never mind, will go look it up. I need more Shostakovich. None of the Kondrashin are DSD mastered from what I gathered. Amazon.com: Shostakovich: Complete Symphonies: Dmitry Shostakovich: Music I downloaded S9, and the sound quality isn't that great (60s recordings, strange micing), but jesus the performance was good.
Dusty Chalk Posted July 30, 2009 Report Posted July 30, 2009 The only reason I thought that was because of the pic. (points in lower right corner):
