Absorbine_Sr Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 Acer Aspire One 10.1" Netbook from Woot. I wanted something a touch bigger and more powerful than my Eee PC. And the price was right.
swt61 Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 A bunch of beta22 parts. Nice! Now you'll need a nice case.
Absorbine_Sr Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 how do you like it? Don't know yet. Ordered yesterday. As soon as I get it I'll let you know. I will probably load Windows 7 on it fairly soon after receiving it.

cetoole Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 more like 1/4 of a discrete I/V Without the pesky I/V bits.
Fitz Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 ooo. nice Madlax picture btw. It'll probably change again, I was too lazy to find a good image off the DVDs so I just used something I found on google image search. Nice! Now you'll need a nice case. Yeah, if only I knew a good source for a nice wooden chassis...
Voltron Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 Tumi briefcase to replace the one I bought more than 10 years ago.
Fungi Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 Tumi briefcase to replace the one I bought more than 10 years ago. I have that. It's nice and pocketful, but it doesn't like to stand on its own.
raffy Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 I have that. It's nice and pocketful, but it doesn't like to stand on its own. I have the same one, but not the latest Alpha series from last year. Top notch materias and build quality but will not stand up at times if the large front compartment is empty. Other than that, it's a great laptop bag that will last for years and years.
