aardvark baguette
I'd suggest learning to read TAB, regardless of if you get an instructor or not. Its alot quicker than traditional sheet music, and nowadays some stuff is only offered in it, at least on the internet. Then when you're ready, you can learn this "] Edited March 15, 2009 by aardvark baguette
Grahame
I'd second Monsieur Baguettes advice. In earlier times, you'd have been able to take advantage of The On-Line Guitar Archive For now I'd suggest you get hold of a copy of Guitar Pro - Tablature Editor Software for Guitar, Bass, and Banjo, then you'll be able to take advantage of resources like GProTab - GuitarPro tabs sharing website

aardvark baguette
You dont really LEARN tabs. Its pretty damn simple in terms of music reading Yeah, but some tab has the staff lines integrated, indicating 1/4 notes, 1/2 notes, etc. It does take a bit of time to 'sight read' the tab, similar to the way you read several words ahead while reading aloud. At one point I was faster at it than my teacher, who stuck to traditional sheet music when possible.

Old Pa
I thought that real sport fishing involved fly gear. Depends what for and where you are fishing. Fly fishing is actually just a technique for fishing with naturally small live () or artificial baits by using the weight of the line to cast. I fly fish when it's appropriate. Recently, fly fishing been sold as an alternate lifestyle (and a balm for their arrogant egos) to a bunch of poseurs for big bucks. Mostly, they just get cashectomized. Now me, however and whatever I fish for, it's for supper.
aardvark baguette
couple of 3/4" ply boards, 4 3/4" threaded steel rods (~ 3 fee tall), bunch of washers & bolts. Some drill bits. When I get the time, I'm going to finally make one of those DIY flexi racks. I really can't buy any new audio toys until I do; I'm fresh out of desk space. When I get the time, I'm going to finally make one of those DIY flexi racks. I really can't buy any new audio toys until I do; I'm fresh out of desk space. Just FYI, having built three of them now, 3 legs/rods one is FAR easier to level then 4 legs/rods one. It's also easier when you have to add/subtract a shelf or two. aardvark baguette
I was actually going to go the 3 rod initially, and have been going back and forth in my mind about it. I'm just worried about tipping it. I'm sort of at the point where I just figure it'll take as long as it takes, but once its done its done, you know?
