Voltron Posted February 3, 2009 Report Posted February 3, 2009 Don't listen to The Smoking Man, Nate. Lily will feel worlds better when the meds kick in, and in turn so will you when the sleep kicks in. Good luck tonight!
n_maher Posted February 3, 2009 Report Posted February 3, 2009 Yeah, it's been a rough 3 nights leading up to this but at various points this weekend she'd seem to improve for a bit and then go downhill at night so Maura took her to the Doc today to get the bad news. Here's to hoping she lets me sleep a bit tonight, the whole house needs it.

Came down the croup and we tried to hold off as long as possible without giving steroids to the little one... but off and on three nights in the bathroom with the shower steam kinda gets old ... not exactly С лёгким паром!

Heh... all four of my kids and the wife had strep last week... fun
Icarium Posted February 3, 2009 Report Posted February 3, 2009 Amazon.com: Raw Spirit: Iain Banks : Books Hell of an author. Sci fi or fiction. I buy all his books when they come out.. Anti Matter was excellent.
n_maher Posted February 3, 2009 Report Posted February 3, 2009 Heh... all four of my kids and the wife had strep last week... fun Heh indeed. Wife started to get ill this afternoon and is officially sick now. Looks like I'm flying solo tonight with two sick ladies.

Pars Posted February 3, 2009 Report Posted February 3, 2009 Hang in there guys. Once they are on antibiotics they seem to kick in fast. Both my sons get ear/sinus infections (even at 18 for oldest). Then my wife will get it. Me, never for some reason
luvdunhill Posted February 3, 2009 Report Posted February 3, 2009 Looks like we need a "How are you feeling today" thread
Fitz Posted February 3, 2009 Report Posted February 3, 2009 Yeah, no illness for me, but I've been buying a lot of parts lately... 2SK1529s, 2SJ200s, 0.1R resistors, speaker binding posts, RCA jacks, various power caps, 5v relays, 25k trimpots, LM317s, LM338s, toggle switches, 11DQ10s, a delrin knob (thanks Marc!), and a million other stupid little things I can't remember. I can sit on an order for days thinking about what other things I might need, but I won't remember them until the day after I actually place the order.
luvdunhill Posted February 3, 2009 Report Posted February 3, 2009 2SK1529s, 2SJ200s I'm thinking about finding a bunch of 2SK1530/2SJ201 pairs. If you have a good source, I'd love to hear about it

If you have a good source, I'd love to hear about it I bought the 2SK1529/2SJ200 from Audio Lab, because it's literally 2 suites over from a place I get parts for work. They also carry the 2SK1530/2SJ201, but I have no idea if that's a good price for them or not since I've never bought any.

n_maher Posted February 3, 2009 Report Posted February 3, 2009 Well, I was not successful at dodging whatever this is. I've been feeling more and more like poo all day (thankfully Lily is feeling better) and the wife has only gotten out of bed once.
Voltron Posted February 3, 2009 Report Posted February 3, 2009 That's how it works. Now Lily will feel better and be cute and want to play while you feel like shit. The circle of life as parents of an infant.
ingwe Posted February 3, 2009 Report Posted February 3, 2009 A new CPAP interface (that's what they call "masks"). I think this one is a keeper. http://www.cpap.com/productpage/aeiomed-aura-nasal-cpap-interface.html
swt61 Posted February 3, 2009 Report Posted February 3, 2009 Thank goodness it's not dorky looking or anything.
Voltron Posted February 3, 2009 Report Posted February 3, 2009 (edited) I have a full-face mask, myself. Or, wait, moar black: Edited February 3, 2009 by Voltron
Dusty Chalk Posted February 3, 2009 Report Posted February 3, 2009 Alright, maybe not full face, but it's not just the just-nostril thing as was pictured above. It does sound like Darth Vader's assisted breathing apparatus thingy, though.
Knuckledragger Posted February 3, 2009 Report Posted February 3, 2009 AAHHHH. The damn furries have infiltrated out military!
