naamanf Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 I like LspCAD or even (gasp) Speaker Workshop. LspCAD was my second choice. If I don't like SE I will return it and get LSP.

luvdunhill Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 They are holding my dynamics ransom. I didn't have much of a choice Comply and the materials stolen from your Markl modded Denons will magically reappear. Until then, your forced to live with sub-R10 performance.
Dusty Chalk Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 Tylenol <-- that's me holding my head, not a facepalm.
Smeggy Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 Nice, what's her name? I just bought a mini^3 for my mobile ortho outings Yes, I do wear *all* my honkin' big-ass phones out and about, even the K1000.
Knuckledragger Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 Two pairs of 3M XLR ICs, one pair of 1.5M RCA to 1/4" ICs.
Knuckledragger Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 Shee-it, I didn't buy it, but Car & Driver just emailed me, offering a two year subscription for $8. It's been over a year since my C&D subscription lapsed, and I've really no interest in them any more (even after they canned that fat blowhard Brock Yates.)

I'll more often be wearing big woodied orthos though as they keep out the noise better

n_maher Posted January 23, 2009 Report Posted January 23, 2009 I appear to have secured an oscilloscope that I will be picking up Saturday morning from a friend. He has 5 and agreed to sell me at least one, maybe two to help him clear some space in his workshop.

n_maher Posted January 23, 2009 Report Posted January 23, 2009 Oh really? Do tell....... 2 older Tektronix units, don't have model numbers yet but one is a 100mHz version and one is a 200mHz version. Both working and tested against calibrated units, although not calibrated themselves. I'll post up a few pictures when I get them home.

There's one guy in front of you for whichever unit I don't keep but if he passes I'll certainly let you know. FWIW the 100mHz unit is a 7633 mainframe storage scope and the 200mHz unit is a 7704 mainframe. Both are in rack mount chassis and that's about all I know.
