Knuckledragger Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 Nate built me a power cord that was a surprise. Thanks! I just began to do some listening and it sounds great with my 650's. Wow. Serious power cord is serious.
Hopstretch Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 Four tickets to South Africa. Oh, that hurt. Although probably not as much as the actual 18-1/2 hour flight will with a three- and four-year-old.
elnero Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 Dragonfly :: 4 String Fretless in black. I haven't played in quite some time but I've had the itch to play again now for awhile, so when I stumbled on this pretty amazing deal I couldn't pass it up.
The Monkey Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 Not sure if I posted this: Seems like a pretty good deal at $150.00. Seems like the silver is being discontinued. I'm expecting it to be pretty ugly.
jinp6301 Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 Used SendStation LOD/Dock + extra wires for $20 basically bought it for the mini to rca cable

Although probably not as much as the actual 18-1/2 hour flight will with a three- and four-year-old. just did the same length flight with a 1 year and 3 year old (and about to return on Thursday. After the 18.5 hour flight, then another leg from NYC to Texas). Pretty exciting. One thing I'd recommend it trying to get seats with power, either AC or the EmPower 15V stuff. You may have to call the airline, but this was a life saver on our flight. Also, Benedryl doesn't always knock kids out, if you are considering that route. My 3 year old just gets more excitable.. kinda strange. Better go with whiskey.

Put together some recordings, man.
grawk Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 Fretless is actually a little easier for me, sounds more right so I'm more likely to keep going.

elnero Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 Jesus, you play fretless? Put together some recordings, man. Well, I've only played a fretless bass a couple of times before but considering I played cello for the better part of my early life fretless feels more natural to me. It's been quite a while since I played so I figured if I was getting something I might as well get a fretless. I've been surprising myself, not nearly as many flat or sharp notes played as I would have expected.
Sherwood Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 So that makes at least three fretless bass players on here. We are going to make one extremely noodly-ass, terrible song when we eventually trade protools files.
grawk Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 Oh, I promise no one is ever getting a recording of me playing bass
Sherwood Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 I'll just photoshop you into mine, then. No problem.
grawk Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 I played out exactly once ever. That was enough
