Built in Ohio, I believe, to somewhat counter the previous gentleman's objections...

Yep, those things are built at their Marysville factory in Ohio. I've always liked Accord, though I've a feeling I'll be getting another Civic if my current one dies.

This is our 4th Accord... I must be getting too set in my ways :palm:

At least be a better bigot, and educate yourself some. The Hyundai is a Korean company, not Japanese.

And the Toyota Highlander and the Hyundai Sante Fe are built in the USA dickhead.

Wikipedia says the pre 2009 Highlander is assembled in Japan. But I know how unpopular Wikipedia is here :)

This reminds me of this exchange from Porky's:

Tim: Anybody wanna go fly a kite with me tonight? I hear it's great weather for flying KITES! I wonder if there's any KITES around here we can fly!

Brian Schwartz: Hey listen, Cavanaugh. It's not kite, it's KIKE! K-I-K-E, "kike." You know, you're too stupid to even be a good bigot!

So I guess I should keep my comment about environment friendly vehicle to myself? :asshat:

Actually, the Highlander was selected for it's (relative) environmental friendliness. It gets 20 to 30% better fuel economy than the vehicle it replaced.

Nate, I hope Lilly is feeling better and congrats on the new car!

She is Mike and thanks, she was feeling well enough that I got some work done this afternoon. I'll be headed back down to the lab in a few minutes for more. :indra:
